These worked very well and were accurate. I purchased enough to do the whole family, followed the directions exactly, and they all functioned as they should. For some reason it is very difficult to get a doctors office to request a blood-typing unless there is a true medical need... much easier and cheaper to use these kits at home.

Easy home use blood type kit. I bought the three test kit so we tested two other family members with quick results. It’s been so long since I knew what my blood type is and this is a cost effective and quick way to find out without having to leave my home.

Works great! Hospital doesn't tell you what type of blood your baby has anymore( at least mine doesn't). So I got to fine out his blood type. Tested my husband and mine too. As we know ours and to to see is it is right. It was on both of ours. So I believe my son's is right as well.

Good product

This kit worked. We couldn't find any record of my husband's blood type. Rather than calling doctors offices or the Red Cross trying to find record of it I decided to order a kit. I've known my blood type forever just like knowing my DOB and SSN. 3 test kits came in the package which made me feel good in case we messed one up. We ended up only using 2 because the procedure was simple enough and the typing results were obvious. We did one on me as a control since I knew my type and the test matched it. Two points need improvement: 1) the EldonSticks (4 per kit) are not easy to get a nice drop of blood on like the instructions show. If the results hadn't come out clearly for us I would of blamed the transferral of blood to the card w these sticks as a problem. 2) the how to video online (referenced on the paper instructions) was no help with using the EldonSticks nor on rotating the card. Those were my two areas of confusion after reading the written instructions and the video was of NO help. It needs to be updated to cover EACH step of the instructions. In our case "all's well that ends well". It was quick, easy enough, and gave clear results.

We did not know my kids' blood types for sure. Very easy instructions to follow and easy to read results.

This kit might be quicker and easier than tracking down your blood type from your doctor’s office! The test was simple to administer and had a learning curve similar to an at-home COVID test—just follow the step-by-step instructions, and you’ll be fine. I used it on myself, an elementary-aged child, and a toddler. The finger prick was straightforward, even for someone with no medical background. It’s about the same experience as a finger stick at the doctor’s office—manageable for adults but understandably a little unpleasant for kids. The results were easy to read, with clear and definitive outcomes. If you need to determine your blood type at home, this is a convenient and reliable option. Highly recommend!

I have to revise my review. I did the test twice with the first set I ordered and both results showed that my results were O Negative. I ordered a second set of tests so that my aunt and mother could test themselves to be sure of their B+ result. They haven't tested themselves yet. Since there was an extra kit and I'd already poked myself twice I decided to test myself a third time since this is a different batch. This time my result was O Positive. So I'm questioning the authenticity of these tests. Maybe one was a faulty batch? But if I'm O Negative and say I'm O Positive and am given + blood it will kill me if I'm actually -, so I'm thinking now I would rather go to someone official and get my blood tested, as this has given me two completely different results. Below is my original review: I had been told my blood type was O Positive my entire life only to learn recently that my mother apparently guessed my blood type, so I ordered the kit. I did one, and didn't have any clotting so that means it's O Negative. My aunt, who is my mom's twin sister, was with me and immediately was fascinated and she started wondering if her blood type was correct. So she took the second test, which came up to be B Positive, which she'd always assumed she was O Positive like my mom had. This made me a little wary of the results of the test, so I did mine a second time and got the same exact results, so I'm going to assume that it's accurate. I'm ordering a second set though to double check my aunt's, my mom's, and then my own once more just to make sure it's consistent. I do NOT like needles at all and it took me several minutes of panic to finally brave up and use the lancet. Then it didn't, and you have to really push hard to get it to go. Make sure the water dissolves the little circles on the pad as those are the antigens that'll clot the blood and show you your type and note you do NOT need a lot of water or blood to make it work. Quick, easy, and fascinating.
