ZIWI Peak Air-Dried Dog Food – Tripe & Lamb - All Natural, High Protein, Grain Free, Limited Ingredient w/ Superfoods (35.2oz)

I’ve researched many, many dog foods, and you’d have a difficult time finding one more nutritious than Ziwi Peak. It’s a bit pricey—especially the air-dried version—but it’s a great dog food.If you want better, you’ll need to make your own or go with Farmer’s Dog $$$, which is top-notch food. Personally, I don’t like the whole subscription model, and for any dog bigger than a miniature poodle, it will cost you.

Our dog became uninterested in her food. She is 8 years old and checked out completely healthy with our vet. We tried all kinds of food and this is a winner. Not only did it entice her, but she loves it. We are so pleased. Ziwi Peak is healthy and must taste great because our girl, Sydnie, loves it. The food is pricey, but our dog deserves a healthy, high quality food.

I feed my dog a primary raw diet, but when camping or traveling that’s not always possible. So I give her this and she goes nuts! It stinks because of the tripe, but it doesn’t linger. Ziwi products are always fresh and the quality of ingredients is pretty obvious. You could use these for a training treat too. Highly recommend

Great for dogs with intestinal issues. I brought a rescue into my life a year ago; she came with diarrhea. She has suffered with this on and off since then, more often than not. We have gone through rugs, stress, and she has been stressed about going in the house too. She started losing weight but was not lethargic. My vet told me to change foods (she was on an organic homemade diet to replace the crap food she came with) but to no improvement. I did not want to do conventional food b/c they have rendered meat (look it up; it is NOT good) I went to a mom-pop pet store and the store clerk (super knowledgeable) turned me on to this. Let me know that it was pricey but that it was the only thing that her rescue could eat that didn't give her the runs. The dog was there in the store with her and was very healthy and happy. My dog's poop was solid the next day. The first time she has ever had solid poop since I got her a year prior and I tried all top name brands and the homemade thing. Could have been too much protein, could have been type of protein. We (vet and I) don't know; but I know that I am keeping with this food; it is a bit pricey but cheaper than all the replacement rugs we had to keep buying and honestly, the peace that you have not having to rush home from a party b/c you know your dog probably pooped in the house. She's happy, she's put her weight back on and my vet loves this food.

But it's way too small. For $50 buy the 55 lbs but since the last 2 orders were not thrown around or not in powdery form, I am rating Ziwipeak tripe and lamb now with 5 stars even if my 7 yrs old female golden retriever is probably tired of it, but I know definitely better than any kibble. I can't make raw food, even with a $400 meat grinder I bought. It's only .5 hp but it's high quality. Only used 3 times as I will stick with Ziwipeak tripe and lamb as they call it air dried or dehydrated and from New Zealand! And Amazon prime says I bought this 30 or more, times. Multiply 30 times $110 including tax, Hawaii tax, and the 2.2 lbs I think but less than half of the 5.5 lbs which I bought less than 10 of equals about $2750, just did a quick calculating on my head, adding the 2.2 lbs, around $48 including tax, Hawaii tax, means I bought around $3,250 of Ziwipeak, mostly tripe and lamb, as I like to change the protein sources but for some reason she doesn't care for it. Venison maybe I should try that. But a prominent veterinarian said in an email long ago that chicken, venison are pro inflammatory in Chinese medicine so don't give her chicken, raw or cooked. She's a well known vet that started the canine blood bank, Hemolife, for those in need for transfusions. And she never do those 5, 6 in one vaccines as she calls them toxic tissue culture soup, because it's definitely true. If one like distemper after doing a titer check for antibodies and it's scores are low, that doesn't mean to vaccinate, and if your vet really convinces you, then ask for a single dose, not what they carry. Do you think most Veterinarians have those by itself? 90 percent not so they'll give a disclaimer with Adeno and parvo, 3 in one. It's up to you, it's your dog as our dogs doesn't have a choice, right? But I like Ziwipeak because it's not any kind of kibbles just that she's tired of it. You eat the same thing every day, see how you like it?Kibbles no matter which brand has on average 40 to 50 plus percent carbs. Think about it!

I don't use this as dog food, but as high value treats for my sporting dogs. Great item, perfect small pieces for treating, high quality food. I will keep using this and will purchase whenever there is a nice sale for it.So far I've tried multiple varieties and all of them have been excellent.

Das Hundefutter wird von unserem Docs sehr gern gefressen lediglich der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach viel zu hoch. Sicher gibt es Leute die das zahlen für Ihren Vierbeiner aber ich denke 28 € für ein Kilo sind eindeutig viel zu viel. Weiterhin haben wir festgestellt dass das Futter nach ca 10 Monaten eine helle weiße Schicht bekommt ob das Futter dann noch genießbar ist kann ich nicht sagen die haben das dann entsorgt. Da wäre es beim Hersteller mal anzufragen ob das normal ist oder nicht

Ogni tanto arriva più frantumato di altre volte, ogni tanto le crocchete son perfette. Ma questa marca rimane in assoluto la migliore e più sana marca di cibo secco per cani mai provata prima. L'unica che il mio pinscher toy dal palato sopraffino e abituato al casalingo si mangia. Feci perfette....
