The ketoconazole medication that you are prescribed (2% active ingredient) or Nizoral (1% active ingredient (forgive me for gross but accurate words) break down the crusty fungus on our scalps. That is what dries our hair out, not the conditioners we use. This conditioner was pretty good in that it smelled minty and allowed me to detangle my hair completely in the shower when my hair was wet. The moisture level appeared high when air drying it and the moisture level appeared moderate when it was dry. There are probably other conditioners out there that give your hair more shine and moisture but expect your hair to dry out some with the ketaconozole medication for your scalp. I have sebhorreic dermatitis which is like dandruff in a way, just no flakes but the same crusty fungus scalp. We need the Nizoral or prescribed shampoo to eat away at the fungus so our hairs can grow through it and not fall out. My hair was falling out in clumps before I started using the prescribed shampoo or nizoral. So if this conditioner was made by the same people, then I’m going to use it. The conditioner is not medicated and won’t help the fungus. I just use it to detangle the longer parts of my hair. There’s no need to get this conditioner on my scalp because I just did that with the prescribed medicated shampoo or nizoral. So, there’s no need to use a lot of this product at a time or use it when you’re using non-medicated shampoo. That means this conditioner lasts a long time and is a good value for the money paid.

Best moisturizer I can find for my hair personally. It works great and is much needed after my medicated shampoo. Helps with the scalp irritation and a little goes a long way so it’s a good value.

Amazing product! Usually I just purchase the dandruff shampoo but decided to try the conditioner and wow, what a great combination. My hair is soft, shiny and dandruff free.

The shampoo is great. Highly recommend. The conditioner is the worst conditioner I have ever used. Leaves hair weighed down even after rinsing and rinsing with water. Two days later the scalp is itching so bad you have to shampoo again.

I absolutely loved this when my scalp wouldn’t quit itching. After using it once and even twice it made my scalp feel a lot better and helped get rid of the itchiness and helped heal my scalp.

Perfect addition to the shampoo and smells great. Good white color, creamy consistency and not runny. Works well, a great value and leaves your hair soft without stripping it.

Doesn’t keep flakes away but it’s very moisturizing has slip so makes hair soft and silky feeling. My flakes were back 2 days later after using this and the shampoo for it. Doesn’t work for Seborrheic dermatitis issues. Clinical Head and Shoulders and Selsum Blue works on the first wash. This doesn’t. Unfortunately, there is no conditioner for Clinical Head and Shoulders. So, perhaps i will use that shampoo and this as the conditioner. I just can’t stand the smell of Clinical Head and Shoulders. This conditioner smells decent and also has the minty cooling effect in it for itchy scalp if needed. As a Dandruff conditioner, NOPE. As a regular conditioner, it does well. That’s why the 3 stars.

2 months ago restarted thyroid medication, skin dry like alligator. Scalp started itching. Hair falling out. Driving me crazy. Side effects from restarting meds. So they tell me. I read everything I could, found Nizoral. I have coal tar shampoo which works, but needed conditioner. I tried Nizoral out of desperation. The minute I rubbed it on in my warm shower, it worked. The itching ceased immediately. It felt so good. I put a Lil dab in my body wash and washed my arms and anypart itching. Again itching ceased. What a relief, I actually let out a big sigh of relief. It's heaven not to be scratching to death. For me it's great. I recommend it. I will buy more. Anything that works is worth the money. I hope if you try, it'll work for you too. The smell is not overpowering. I like coal tar, tea tree and peppermint. Good Luck in your search.

L'ho provato solo una volta per ora,ma lascia i capelli molto secchi a mio avviso,anche se promette profonda idratazione. Do solo 3 stelle perché lo devo testare ancora,e quindi il mio potrebbe essere un giudizio affrettato. Rimando a piu avanti il vero voto.
