DK Online 300 Movie Shield of Sparta Spartan Shield

This thing is Awesome! I love the weight to it too and the feel. Not at all cheap looking or feeling. Almost thought it was made of metal when I first touched it to pull it out of the box. Killer price too!! Just need to find a place to get a quality cape and pair of spartan speedos now. I was worried the 24'' Diameter was going to be too small because I really wanted to go with the 36'' but this is a great sized shield especially for the amount of money they are asking for it.

The shield looks fantastic overall, but the construction on mine was pretty weak. The metal pieces that hold the handle broke off the first day I had it and a piece of the plastic backing fell off as soon as I took it out of the box. I'll be able to hang it on the wall, but I won't be able to carry it...which is a shame since it looks pretty awesome.

This shield is incredibly awesome. It's so life like, well only by a bit because the actual shield is 32 inches in diameter. Anyways I ordered mine on a Saturday before the week for Halloween. It was true to it's shipping date estimates and I got it on Thursday before Halloween. When I first picked it up, it didn't really feel like a 12 pounder at all. That was because I held it from the hand grip. The details of the shield being the color,the smeary black part, and even battle dents look pretty well made. Finally wielding the shield was the most greatest feel. After a few hours of playing with it the velcro strap kinda left me a pressure bruise, I can understand that cause the shield is heavy once it's on. Anyways this is the perfect shield for the spartan costume unlike that pathetic small "official 300 costume shield" that stupid thing was pathetic, but when it comes to this shield you feel like a spartan. This is indeed the coolest shield from the past. Well actually not cause I don't think they had this shield design back then...but who cares. I love my new shield. I recommend this shield to anyone who likes the movie 300.

Sheild is pretty awesome....really. Looks authentic and has serious "weight" and heft to it. (As a woman, it'd be too heavy to pack around for hours.) The holder and grip are a bit cheaper looking & feeling, but you don't see them. It'll be for husband's Holloween costume & he's very happy about the quality for price ratio. Now, about the dreaded packaging....yikes. Even after multiple reviews siting the problem, they keep repeating the crummy job. Our item was cracked on the outer edge, but I chose to glue it & camouflage the repair. (Turned out ok.) But I wish the seller would remedy the seemingly obvious issue.

Used for a Halloween costume. It was awesome. Heavy enough to be taken seriously. I would say the velcro strap broke as I was using it to support the shield perhaps more then designed (there is also a handle). I did not have any issues with chips on arrival, despite the shipping box clearly taking some abuse. If you are looking at this shield from a number of the available sellers, do not hesitate with this one.

This thing looks Amazing man! The Detail and the size of that thing... Just.. WOW!, Its very Bulky and Tough and looks Bad A$$ Only thing i noticed was the weight of the shield, it's pretty heavy so better not use it for long sessions, Definitely Worth it, probably the best shield out there.

My grandson requested this item for a gift. It was received with an area at the edge of the shield damaged with the surface chipped. I suspect it was damaged in transit.

Overall the Shield is well made and looks good but the packaging left something to be desired. Received destroyed. It was only protected by a foam cover on two sides and in one box. Large 6 inch chip on one end, small chip on opposite end and the center Hub took such a hit that it bulged out and cracked the shield in a circular pattern. Returned for replacement.
