The Vax spot wash is small and light weight whilst still packing and impressive punch. Doing a fantastic job with it's powerful suction getting those spills or in my case puppy accidents up in a jiffy. One of my favorite things about this is the extra head with hard wearing rubber scrubber does an amazing job and is very easy to clean. Plus it's self cleaning hose that's also pretty nifty. The water capacity is decent for something of this size bearing in mind it's for smaller areas. And is actually pretty decent value for money would recommend

where have you been all my life? how I have managed without this I do not know. amazing piece of kit. super clever and effective. did the fabric seats in my car which take a beating from my dog. super impressed. the car mats were the most incredible ..// had a go at the bit of carpet where my daughter does her make up. that was harder to shift and needs a professional vac. but overall am so happy I now have this in my life for spot cleaning. comes with a pouch of cleaning product but I would use dr Beckman's moving forward as I have the stuff anyway. or a friend said ecover and vinegar.

A good quality item as to be expected from this company, easy to use with a useful instruction booklet that for once can be read without a magnifying glass. Sucking back the dirty water is best done with very slow pull - back or it picks up very little ( it requires practice). Also the spray is quite generous so can be easy to soak the area quickly. Main complaint for me is it is quite noisy, otherwise very useful cleaner As a suggestion, try using a small amount of laundry cleaner once the solution provided is used up, works just as well for me.

Great little cleaner. I bought this as my ailing dog was having frequent accidents on my pale carpet and I had seemingly exhausted manual cleaning and scrubbing. One going over the area with this little machine and there was not a single trace that there had ever been an accident - no stain, no water marks and no smell. Its a small machine so you couldn't tackle a whole room with it, but for spills, accidents and just a general spruce up of any high traffic area it is perfect. I love the self-cleaning feature too as you know you're not storing dirty water and smells. Its light and small but perfect for moving around and up and down stairs, and easy to store too. Some reviews mention that it is noisy, but it is no worse than some vacuum cleaners and I would expect a certain amount of noise given the job it is doing. It leaves the carpet/fabric almost dry so you aren't waiting for hours to run the vacuum over it and finish the job. Overall, it is excellent value for money and I would recommend it.

Suction power = 10/10 The vacuum is incredibly strong and even after soaking the carpet and brushing it before running over it the unit did a fantastic job of pulling up i'd say about 95% of the moisture, I've used standing carpet extractors before which have left my carpet feeling damp and rather wet - this unit is miles better by comparison and is even cheaper, the carpet isn't bone dry but with how slightly moist it is it will dry up pretty quickly. Ease of installation and use = 10/10 Unboxing it is simple, you get a few bags with the spare brush and extractor heads, clip the head you want onto the handle, install the two hose clips to the lower front and back of the unit for keeping the hose tidy in storage, unclip the clean water tank and fill her up - be careful not to go the maximum as there is a breathing port just above the fill valve that will shoot a jet of water out if you encourage it to, plug her in clip the brush extractor attachment you want onto the handle and flip the switch and you're on your way. Self cleaning feature and cleaning routine = 10/10 Once you're done you remove the brush head and stick the handle into the self cleaning port at a downward angle and the unit cleans itself which is very simple and easy, removing the dirty water tank and unclipping the top half to empty it and give it a rinse is simple enough, there is a small screen under the dirty water tank you need to clean of any hairs or debris and it looks like you may need to remove the screen to remove the plate to remove it for a deep clean otherwise just picking off anything there is easy as a lot of the fine debris goes into the dirty water tank. I'm very impressed with how effective the unit is, it's nicely built and easy to use and does a great job at extracting the cleaning solution from a carpet, I can't wait to use it inside my car to deepclean the seats and floormats. The dirty water tank has a max volume marker which looks to be about 60% so it won't hold a full 1 litre of fluid as it will begin spilling out of the tank at the very bottom, so do be mindful to empty the tank, i'd say for every 1ltr (full) water tank, you can get two dirty water tanks out of it by going to the half way point at around 500ml's. I was shocked at how nasty the dirty water tank was and how much sediment seemed to have formed in the tank. After comparing more expensive options like Bissell units and a few other cheaper alternatives I'm extremely glad to have purchased this bit of equipment, I have no negative points to make about it as it's incredibly well designed. It's as loud as a hoover, it's not uncomfortably loud but it's not silent as it has what a 1000w or more motor pulling a vacuum, it's moving a lot of air so it's going to be noisy. over all 5 golden stars as this is a perfect tool and i would personally recommend it to anyone for cleaning both the house and car with.

I bought this to replace a spot cleaner from a different manufacturer that I returned as it leaked. I'm very pleased with this one - it's easy to use and effective - well worth the money. Just add water and cleaning solution, insert the tank and start cleaning! The different brush attachments are useful for different types of mess. I use mine to clean up cat puke from the carpet and so far it has been very effective. It did take me a few uses to realise that if you hold the water button down it squirts out continuously - until then I'd been using it like a squirter and getting finger ache! It has good suction which means it dries quickly once you've cleaned up the mess. It's also fairly compact and doesn't take up too much room when you store it away.

I love this mini machine! I have a cream rug in my lounge in front of the log burner and I’ve cleaned away all the marks. My rug looks like brand new again. I’m so glad I invested in this spot cleaner as I will ultimately save money. So easy to set up the machine, to operate and move around. It’s lightweight but packs a punch given it’s so compact. Would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to save the cost of employing a professional carpet cleaner. Just do it yourself!
