This spray worked great on the wasp nests growing outside my home
This spray worked great on the wasp nests growing outside my home! I was able to aim and shoot from a safe distance and the wasps immediately fell to their death and haven't come back. Worked like a charm! (I will say, I was also hoping this would help me eradicate a beehive, but it seems to have zero effect on bees...only wasps and hornets!)

No More Wasps
When I returned home from vacation, i found a large wasp nest under the eves of my house. I did not want to mess with these guys, but the Raid did the job. I was able to spray the nest from ten feet away. It seems to have done the job. No more waps!

You spray, wasps die
Which is after all why I bought this stuff in the first place. Well, second place really. I first got Spectracide Wasp and Hornet Killer, Twin Pack, 2 to 20-Ounce on a 'great sale' at a local store and found that it would have been more effective to beat the wasps to death with the can. The Raid spray performed as expected. Nice stream, decent distance and any wasp it hit dropped to the ground and expired in seconds.

Smelly... but EFFECTIVE
Thank the heavens I can still find this product online. The most effective thing for killing the mutant hornets that took up residence in my apartment building - and I can do it from the cowardly comfort of right behind my front door! I would not use this indoors, or around children or animals, as it smells very strong and like harmful chemicals. I use it in the hallway of my apartment building (somewhat indoors, but with ventilation, kind of), and it smells pretty bad for the rest of the day, but the odor is usually gone by the next morning. This product really does kill those suckers too, and basically has allowed me to leave my apartment in the summertime! Now if I could just find something to prevent wasps and hornets all together..... until then, I'll be using this. I took one star off for the awful smell, but what can ya do?

Boom! You're Dead! The Only Other Thing That Works As Well Is A Hot Cup Of Coffee. Look Before You Drink.
The wasps in our area seem to always build their nests under our eaves where it's almost impossible to reach them. Standing on a tall step ladder and trying to knock down the nest is a potential recipe for disaster. Not just from the pain of being swarmed and stung, but from the possible fall to the ground while flailing away at them. If you've ever been stung by a Florida Mud Dauber you won't want to repeat it any time soon. This product was designed specifically for hard-to-reach situations. Wasps/bees typically stop their frantic activities around sundown. That's the best time to find a strategic angle, point the spray can down wind, and give the nest a quick blast. You certainly don't want to cover yourself with the spray. The first shot will kill several of them and cause others to leave the safety of the nest. So give the nest a second and longer shot to soak the nest and kill the larvae. Sometimes there are additional wasps on the nest in the morning, but it's a simple matter to nail the last of them. Make sure to clean up the dead wasps and larvae in the morning so that your pets don't get themselves in trouble nosing through them. Be generous when using the product, at this price you might want to buy two cans.
