Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector [GlasTR Slim] Designed for MacBook Pro 14 inch (M5 / M4 series / M3 series / M2 series / M1 series)

I added the Spigen Glas.tR Slim tempered glass screen protector to my new 15-inch MacBook Air (M4, 2024) right after unboxing, and it's been flawless so far. The fit is spot-on—precise cutouts for the notch, camera, and edges, with no overhang or gaps that could collect dust or interfere with the display. Application was surprisingly straightforward for a full-coverage glass protector: the included alignment frame snaps the glass into place perfectly on the first try, no bubbles or misalignment. I wiped everything down with the provided cloths, peeled the backing, and it went on smooth in under two minutes. No dust trapped underneath, and the edges sit flush so it doesn't catch on anything when closing the lid. The glass itself is super thin (feels almost like it's not there) but still has that satisfying hardness—resists fingerprints way better than the naked screen, and minor swipes with a microfiber cloth keep it looking pristine. Clarity and touch response are unchanged; colors pop the same on the Liquid Retina display, and the oleophobic coating does a great job keeping oils at bay during long typing or scrolling sessions. It adds basically zero bulk, so the MacBook still closes fully flat and slips easily into sleeves or backpacks. I've had no issues with lifting at the edges after a couple months of daily use, even with opening/closing the lid hundreds of times. For the price, it's one of the best screen protectors I've used on any laptop—durable, invisible protection without compromising the premium feel. Can I just say... HOLY CRAP. This thing is magical. I have never once in my life put on a glass screen protector without it doing at least one bubble. This went on perfectly and covers the entirety of my screen. After my previous laptop's screen got little bite marks from my kitten I knew it was time to invest in a screen protector that had full coverage. No finger prints on it, doesn't obscure the camera at all and doesn't change the look of the laptop. I'm not sure how it will do in the sunlight but I'm very impressed for the first impression. Adhered perfectly to the screen and the tabs to attach it were super helpful.

***Update*** So I'm returning this thing today. I gave it almost a month and the glare is just too much to ignore. I wanted to like this protector because it is everything I wanted in clean and professional looking with relatively easy application, but that glare is just too much. I will say I did initially have an issue with rainbow effect like others have mentioned but solved that with a couple passes of a hair dryer evenly across the glass to heat up that under layer so it better adhered smoothly to the screen itself. I'm a big fan of Spigen protectors as they seem to exist in that sweet spot of quality/price between cheapo's like JeTech and the Cadillac of glass, Zagg. I've begun using them on my phones, my iPad and even have a protector on the 9" display on my aftermarket car radio. This kit was everything I expected from the brand except unusually light install instructions. If you've applied a protector before you'll be fine, but if this is your first go I advise watching some U-tube videos. Install was straightforward and easy enough, no bubbles etc and after fiddling with the alignment I've got it where I want it, and I'm happy to say that when installed correctly the lid closes just fine. No gaps to speak of front to back, so I'm not sure what other reviewers are on about. It's an attractive piece of glass and looks nice when installed. But here is my issue: THE GLARE. I mean look at the photo if you're confused. This kit is advertised as anti-glare, but once installed my screen may as well be a mirror. While the MBA screen is already a bit glarish, this is ridiculous and may well be a deal breaker. I'm going to give it a week and see if I can live with it, because I won't see another MBA screen permanently etched with key outlines like my old M2 which this M3 is replacing, but if I can't see the darn screen to actually use it then the point is moot.

Spigen is the best, nothing comes close. Perfect fit, bubbles never a problem. Pay a little more and get what works.

Fits perfectly on my Mac 14" m4. But it's more glossy than the original screen. 5 stars anyhow :D
