I buy this with the light weight moisturiser my skin loves it, I have greasy dull skin & it’s great stuff just so expensive so I only use in the summer with no or limited make up my skin is glowing. In the winter I use a different product & a more intense moisturiser

This is a gel-creme sort of texture, which makes it more lightweight than creams. It spreads well and absorbs quickly. It is reasonably hydrating without being heavy. This makes it good for summer application. I have some mild marks on my skin from previous spots, and they take a long time to fade. This seems to be hastening the process. Not overnight but quicker than without using it. It has only a light fruity sort of scent, which is pleasant without being strong. The chunky little glass bottle is heavy and cute looking, the pump works well and makes it easy and convenient to use. If you're a fan of nice packaging, this would look good on display (or make for a lovely gift). I hope that you've found my review helpful :)

I had high hopes for the Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Serum, but it has proven to be a major disappointment. Despite all the glowing reviews and claims, it didn’t deliver the results I expected. Firstly, the serum is heavily fragranced, which might appeal to some, but it irritated my sensitive skin. After a few uses, I noticed redness and slight itching, forcing me to use it sparingly. Skincare shouldn’t prioritise scent over efficacy, especially for products aimed at brightening and hydration. As for the dark spot treatment, I’ve used the serum consistently for over four weeks and have seen little to no improvement. The claims of evening skin tone and reducing hyperpigmentation seem exaggerated. My skin does feel slightly hydrated after application, but not enough to justify the price. The consistency is also quite sticky, and it doesn’t layer well under makeup. It left my skin feeling tacky for hours, which is far from the “glowy” finish the brand advertises. Overall, this product didn’t live up to its promises and felt like style over substance. For the price, there are better vitamin C serums available that deliver noticeable results. I wouldn’t repurchase or recommend this.
