VERY ATTRACTIVE
I bought this frame because of the attractive shape and size. It holds 4" x 6" pictures perfectly. I previously purchased another collage frame where the entire back needed to be removed (what a pain) in order to load the pictures; but this frame has an individual opening in back for each photo; easy to access, making it simple to change out pictures whenever you want. The black frame looks so rich in between each photo. Nicely made. I highly recommend this frame to anyone looking for a way to save on shelf space or to simply display favorite photos in an attractive way.

Love the entire collage
Love the entire collage. Spaces for the pics are easy to access and unit is not too heavy. Perfect for the picture set I am making. One thouhtt for future buyers, take note of the orientation of the pictures. Some are landscape, others portrait. Not an issue but I was not prepared with the correct pictures to fit into these units properly. Overall I am quite pleased with the frame and began my oroject to get my pictures into the unit. Like the finish and general appearance of the frame mixture

nice frame with one caveat
We like this frame, the look of it, and the fact that it holds 12 photos. We don't mind the plastic 'glass' at all. We use it to hold unique photos of birds we take on our birding trips, and it does a fine job of that with its whimsical shape. However, you should be aware that you'll probably have to trim 1/16 inch or so off one side and end of each picture in order to get them to fit in the frame. The sample photos supplied with the frame have the corners cut off to fit the rounded corners of the CNC cutouts. In spite of that the sample pictures are slightly more than 1/16 inch less in size than 4x6 inches and they are a still a snug fit. There are thin slots in each of the rounded corners of the cutouts that are meant to accept the corners of your photo. That's fine for holding them in position even though you have to do a bit of fussing to get the photo corners in the slots. If you fail to trim the photo before attempting to slip the corners into the slots you will find the photo cannot lay flat, it's simply too big for the size of the opening. I don't know if this is a programming mistake in the software used to control the router that makes the cutouts or if it's simply a design error. There's no reason the manufacturer should allow this manufacturing error to continue. It's simple for them to fix. It's annoying to have to cut down two sides of every picture in order for them to fit in the frames. We're going to deal with it because we like the overall shape of the frame. I just want to make you aware of the problem before you make the purchase. Perhaps ours is from a bad manufacturing run, but even so there would have been at least a few dozen that would have the same problem. UPDATE 2/14/2013: We received two more of these frames and rate them the same as the first one. Yes, we still have to cut down the pictures a bit. We'll deal with it. Here's a hanging tip: the sawtooth hanger supplied on the frame won't work with the typical picture hanger without the hangar itself showing above the frame. Ugh, ugly. This is easily remedied. With a #1 Phillips screwdriver unscrew the two sawtooth hangar screws. Move the hanger directly down to the frame below the top vertical picture, center it over the narrow frame and use a small nail and hammer to create starter holes for the screws in the new location. Strike the nail just hard enough to leave about a 1/8" deep impression. Now screw the sawtooth hanger in this new location. It's a bit tricky to get the hanger on the frame over the picture hanger mounted on the wall, but once you've done it the wall hanger no longer shows. Nice.

Nice to have individual openings for each photo.
This is a little pricey compared to similar frames, but if you need to change photos around for any reason, it is hassle free doing it with the separate openings. I have other frames that are similar but with one big cardboard piece covering the back so if you want to change or fix a photo it is a lot more hassle and you usually have to disturb other photos. I love the layout of the collage and it looks great on my wall! :)

Great quality and design!
Ordered three similar products and was super disappointed with the quality of the first item and ho-hum regarding the design of the second frame we ordered. Happened upon this frame and third time was the charm - love both the design and quality of this item. Really pleased with this. {Thank you Amazon for the easy exchange on these items.}

Love the Look!
This is the 2nd one I've actually purchased. Love the look! The frame itself is very sturdy and looks great on the wall. Be aware the frame covers are plastic and not glass. Doesn't bother me as you really can't tell. Delivery was prompt! Very happy with the purchase.

Insubstantial, but oh it's so pretty
The layout of the frames in this pattern look GREAT against the wall. Flat front surface means this doesn't look like lots of little frames put together - neither good nor bad, just depends on what look you want. If you have one of those up already, though, avoid putting this next to one of those kinds if you can. It's not plaid-and-stripes bad, but it makes you compare them. Individual back panels make this really easy to load and change out photos. A single piece backing is my only real rejection criteria for a mosaic frame, so this is good. Glass part of frame is a thin plexi, not real glass or a quality mil of plexi. But it's not scratched or heat-warped so you can't tell when viewing. I had no problems with the plastic sticking to true prints (as some plastics do with inkjet prints, due to static cling, and cause a marbling effect in the view). One unambiguous hassle is that the opening is not true 4x6 - I had to cut about 1/8th of an inch of both dimensions of my 4x6 prints to fit them in the frame trays. Use a different frame if you have non-reprintable or heirloom photos or artwork. About shipping - the first one received had a crack in the surface, so be sure to check. Got a replacement without any problem. It comes sandwiched between thin styrofoam boards - one of these broke as I took it out and I then spent 10 minutes picking little pieces of styrofoam fluff off of the outer and inner edges of the frame. PROS: - beautiful design - looks clean - easy loading frame-by-frame (not a single piece backing) CONS: - have to trim down 4x6 photos to 3 7/8 x 5 7/8 - thin plastic instead of glass or good-thickness plexiglass I've seen a lot of these mosaic-style frames high and low in price and in quality; this one's expensive and worth it for the design, if not the quality. The quality of the materials is not high, but that said it doesn't look low-quality when it's hanging up. BOTTOM LINE: If you are visual design oriented and care about layout, you will be happy with this frame on your wall and the ability to switch out images. If you are quality-oriented and looking for a frame that will last a lifetime - or even possibly a trip in the back of a truck without bubble wrap - you will be happier with a more substantial frame.

Just okay
Pros: -Design/layout -Lightweight Cons: -Quality/build -Thin frame -Fairly pricey given the quality Summary: While I liked the uniqueness of the layout along with the fact that it holds 12 photos, the build quality was lower than what I'd expect even at almost $37. The thin plexiglass was cracked on almost half the frames (see close-up shot vertical crack above hand on left photo and horizontal crack above "10.2cm" on right photo). It wasn't worth the hassle to return it and risk the replacement having the same issue. I'm hoping it's not too noticeable once I put my photos in. It's probably most noticeable on photos with dark colors. It feels low quality overall due to the lack of depth in the frame and light weight. It also tends to pivot or swivel since there's only one mount point at the top. This is easily fixed with some double sided tape of course but worth mentioning. I think for the price point, you can possibly find a better frame.
