G Green Drain Waterless Trap Seal, 2in High Flow

This gadget is fabulous and really works. We are on a slab, so when the septic gas started in the shower, I was thrilled to You Tube a solution and this seal does the trick. We had water pooling at the drain, so we adjusted it to fit about 2 more inches down from the drain screen and that did the trick. Love it!!!!!!

Very impressive product and highly recommended. The install is straight forward as long as you know the size needed and order the correct corresponding part. All that is need is to insert the cover, apply pressure and make sure it is secure. My biggest concern was weather or not water would still be able to flow down for my water filtration/softener when it purges at a high rate. I can absolutely say that it drains perfectly without any issues. I needed something that would alow for the drainage while blocking odors from the basement drain. This was absolutely the remedy. Any odor that I might have had in the past has been 100% eliminated. It's fits perfectly, out of sight, and for a very reasonable cost. I would say it was money well spent.

I kept getting a stinky smell from the drain in my laundry room. I was sick of pouring water down the drain to stop the smell so I got this and since installing it, it completely fixed the smell. Totally recommend if you have a stinky laundry room.

How is this 20% more efficient? It is the GD2 model. NOT packaged as a GD2-SHF. UPDATE: At two weeks post-installation, shower drain is not flowing freely, see attached photos of water pooling at the drain opening. Now I need to pull the trap seal to find out what is obstructing the flow. Reducing rating from 2 stars to 1. NOT worth the price paid.

This product solved our horrible sewer smell in our master bathroom due to not having a ptrap in the shower. It’s been two years and it’s still working.. Thank you
