Excellent rustic brackets. I used them for a fireplace mantle they look great. Nice and sturdy, no problem supporting heavy loads. I recommend these for any shelf type mounting situation.

These are exactly what I was looking for to support my walnut bar! Love the look and am buying more for a custom shelf I’m building.

These really worked well with some rustic Spanish style shelves I was putting up. They are weathered but sturdy. I noticed that one of them cam a little bent. It was square to the wall and the shelf but was twisted so it did not come down the wall straight looks a bit like this forward slash \ . Worked fine for what I needed and I happened to put it up in a way where it didn't miss the stud but had I been a half an inch of in either direction it would not have hit the stud at both ends.

Installing these under 12 inch granite overhang that had no supports. I painted them black for my preference. I slightly enlarged the screw holes but would definitely buy again. Nice heavy duty brackets.

I ordered the 4 piece set, and while they were well packaged, and the box was not at all damaged, the end of one was broken off. I am unable to provide a picture, but it was the strap, beyond where the support piece attaches. I will fix it with JB Weld, because it is less hassle for me than returning. I AM pleased with the look of the brackets, and they will suit my purpose. I would caution anyone purchasing them based on the "cast iron" description for bearing a heavy load, they are NOT what I would expect for cast iron. They are definitely not what I would expect for the price, but nothing is these days.

These brackets are made from quality materials and are extremely sturdy and beautiful, but the "hand forged" style makes it so that they are not shaped very consistently. Some of the ones i received were not perfect 90 degree angles so the shelves did not sit level. some of them also slanted left or right once they were mounted flush against the wall. If you are going for a primitive, rustic feel these will work. If you are a perfectionist and need things perfectly level, I would look elsewhere.

Used these with a little piece of red oak to add corbels to upper kitchen cabinets. Would have been nice if the holes were more consistently placed since I’ll always have to remember which corbel goes on the occasions they’ll have to be removed for painting. I’d still use them again for this inexpensive project.
