Fresh, Unique Flavor and Gentle on Teeth
I absolutely love this toothpaste. The flavor is one of my favorite things about it — it tastes fresh and clean without being overpowering. The lemon with the subtle floral hint is really unique and makes brushing feel a little more enjoyable than typical mint-only options. It feels very gentle but still effective. My teeth and mouth feel clean and refreshed after using it, and it doesn’t cause any sensitivity or irritation. I also really like that it’s free from fluoride, sulfates, parabens, and artificial ingredients. It feels like a clean, thoughtful formula that I’m comfortable using daily. The texture is smooth and pleasant, and it rinses well without leaving any strange aftertaste. It feels like a high-quality product that focuses on both performance and ingredient safety. Overall, this has been a great addition to my oral care routine, and I would definitely purchase it again.

So far I like it.
I was a sensodyne toothpaste user for a few years, I started using that cause I figured I needed better toothpaste when I got a tooth infection a few years ago. Seemed like it was better for my teeth then what I was using before. I avoided anything that said whitening cause I think for the most part you can't have both whitening and remineralizing stuff when it comes to toothpaste. For about year I didn't get any more infections but then I got more of them here and there for a few years, different teeth. I looked for better toothpaste and came across some that's supposed to be better but that was micro-hydroxyapatite, a lot of the reviewers said it helped their teeth and I was ready to buy some but found out nano-hydroxyapatite is supposed to be even better (nano is smaller particles then micro). So I went with Boka. Normally after I brush my teeth, they're very sensitive to anything sugary, chocolate, jelly, etc. and my teeth would sting from the sugar. Right away, first time I used Boka my teeth didn't sting with any sugary food. Something that works that fast is impressive. I'm glad to be able to eat things and not have it sting now. Just for that reason I'm going to keep using Boka, at least until further notice. It's nice the toothpaste itself doesn't sting too, so many toothpastes I've used before stung, especially under my tongue which is part of why I hated brushing. The nice and unique flavor is great too, mint isn't bad but why are so many toothpastes mint flavored? Another reason why I bought Boka is cause I've got cavities developing and it seems I got an old filling wearing out cause I started seeing a gap along one side, not good. I'm hoping this stuff can repair that so I don't have to see a dentist. I see some reviewers saying their cavities were reversed. I don't think I'm using it enough cause the teeth around the old filling are starting to feel weird when I chew on harder foods like bacon or chips, I've been eating a lot of soft and acidic foods like yogurt, cheese etc which probably aren't helping in addition to bad oral hygiene. I've had bad habits much of my life. Think I need to step on changing that. I'm gonna start brushing with Boka much more to see if it helps it, or not. Will update this review later if there's any changes. Another thing, this is supposed to whiten teeth but again I don't think I'm using it enough and I drink a lot of coffee, it seems like my stains are still getting worse so we'll see what happens after increasing my brushing. Might have to ditch drinking coffee too if it's a problem for my teeth.

Light but good flavor
I haven't noticed some miracle dental difference, but I do like not using chemicals in my mouth. The flavor of this paste is light but good. My mouth feels fresh after brushing. It's not gritty, but it also is not as thick as traditional toothpaste. This is a solid chemical free toothpaste chocie.

Fluoride free & non-mint/cinnamon flavors
I was previously using Tom's coconut whitening toothpaste, but was forced to switch when I could no longer get it. My skin is super sensitive to mint and cinnamon and I have no problems with this lemon lavender toothpaste. It's a bit sweeter than I like, but my mouth feels clean and it freshen my breath. Will continue to use it.

Interesting flavors and a safe option for small kids
So far I have tried the Lemon Lavender, Ella Mint, Vanilla Cardamom, and my daughter uses the Kids Strawberry Mango. The Lemon Lavender is my favorite. It tastes like a lemon pastry. The mint is your basic toothpaste flavor. I found the cardamom notes too strong in the Vanilla Cardamom, but my 4 year old likes it. She also is happy to brush with the Strawberry Mango from their kids line. I love that it is safe to swallow, but still provides protective benefits to teeth that are lacking in most commercially available run of the mill fluoride free training toothpastes. I was skeptical about toothpaste without fluoride, but especially for young kids who are still mastering brushing, this is a safer option. I will soon have my first dental cleaning and exam since starting to use this 3-4 months ago, so the jury is still out on whether it provides the same dental health benefits as fluoride toothpastes.

Great product
Love this toothpaste. Effective. A little pricey but I still buy it because it works well. I love the lemon lavender flavor, so subtle and not overpowering.

Best tasting toothpaste
I NEVER leave reviews. I tried this one because I heard it can be good for weak enamel. It’s only been a few days so haven’t seen much difference. My teethe do seem a little whiter. I will say, I HATE mint toothpaste. Always dealt with it because that’s all there seems to be. This one smells and taste so good I have zero issues with the flavor and my teethe feel and look clean. It starts off as a lavender flavor then a tingly lemon slightly after.

** trying to buy again - where has this Flavour gone? 33.00??!! ** Super happy with this toothpaste so far. I am on a mission to heal my teeth/ gums: realising i have some gum recession/ weakness thinness at end of top front teeth. Happy that the taste is subtle, natural, mostly lemony and always look for a non-mint taste toothpaste. I'm combining using this toothpaste with also 1) an upgrade in my toothbrush (I now have an Oral B battery operated Toothbrush - the head is soft/med and the pulse on my gums is feeling helpful) - this battery brush is a significant upgrade to the one i was using from Boots which didn't give a pulse on/ massage to the gums and head had less contact with tooth/ was harder 2) a morning and evening practice of Oil Pulling with coconut oil and 1x drop of grapefruit essential oil organic. 3) a mouth rinse either homemade with pink salt/ celtic salt/ bicarb soda OR the Saraken/ Aloe mouth rinse. I've been with this routine for around 3 weeks now and already gums are much pinker, not bleeding (I feel this is mostly the oil pulling which i do for 10 - 20 mins 2x a day). And, i'm able to massage the gums with this new brush/ this toothpaste without any bleeding/ sensitivity. My teeth a feeling less sensitive and stronger. I'm also seeing the dentist/ hygienist to explore possible more 'cosmetic' composite filling for the teeth with exposed roots - possible invisalign treatment to make brushing easier (teeth a crowding together at the bottom - as they did when i had braces as a young girl/ woman). Toothpaste is pricey - the most i've spent on a toothpaste! - and so maybe i will combine this with making-up a toothpaste myself e.g. coconut oil/ bicarb soda sometimes or other toothpaste. And, do feel money well spent at the moment. Thank you to other reviews - the reviews re: the subtle taste and less tooth sensitivity helped me decide to buy. Only problem is it does taste so good need to make sure don't over brush my teeth!

Hydroxyapatite great for your teeth.

I love this toothpaste. I had seen the reviews and knew it was popular, but I didn’t really understand the hype or the price point. It happened to be on sale, so I gave it a try. The first few uses were definitely a bit weird, simply because I’ve used traditional mint toothpaste my entire life. The lemon lavender flavour is completely different. It’s subtle, lightly citrusy with a soft lavender finish, and gives a clean feeling without that harsh mint burn. It didn’t take long before I actually started to prefer it. What makes this toothpaste different, and likely explains the price, is the nano-hydroxyapatite. Most regular toothpaste relies on fluoride to strengthen enamel. This uses hydroxyapatite, which is the same mineral your teeth are naturally made of, but broken down into extremely small “nano” particles. Because they’re so small, they can actually fill in microscopic weak spots in the enamel surface rather than just coating it. That’s why your teeth feel smoother, look brighter, and sensitivity improves. It’s not just a surface clean, it’s actively repairing those tiny imperfections. That was the part I didn’t understand at first just looking at the label. After using it, the difference is noticeable within a few uses. My teeth feel cleaner for longer, look brighter, and sensitivity has improved in a way I didn’t get from regular toothpaste. I’ve also used the Boka mint, and while I now find it a bit stronger compared to the lemon lavender, it’s still far less harsh than most traditional mint toothpastes. Regardless of the flavour, my teeth feel significantly cleaner after using Boka. Now that I know the difference and won’t switch back, I just watch for sales and stock up. If I run out or have to use someone else’s toothpaste, I immediately notice how abrasive and artificial everything else tastes. It’s hard to fully explain, but once you try it, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

I bought this because I didn't want to taste/smell mint so i thought why not get nonfloride while I'm at it. It's pretty good and is gentle for mornings. I'm not really watching my teeth but I think it's doing a good job. What I really dislike about it is that it tastes like medicine which is crazy maybe to fix it make the taste a bit more citrusy? Lemony idk. The smell is great tho and uh I think you should use 2 types of toothpastes, this in the morning for enamel repair and don't mix it with any other toothpaste and then fluoride toothpaste at night. Please don't swallow the fluoride.
