Back-Roller Plus Adult's Pannier Bag Quick Lock 2.1 Pair

I bought these a few months ago and am really happy I did.I go everywhere on my bicycle and this gives me all the cargo space I’d ever need, especially for groceries. The roll top closure system makes it so that no grocery item is ever too bulky to secure in the panniers (except for maybe something like a 16 lb bag of cat food, but that kind of thing of course gets secured on top of the rear rack). There’s an internal pocket in each pannier and a mesh pouch where you can store books, a laptop, and various loose items.I’ve ridden through a few rainy days and nights with this and it’s completely reliable at keeping all my stuff totally dry.These panniers attach and detach so easily to my rear rack, it was astonishing to me how elegant the design was my first few times I needed to do so. That’s a bit of a double-edged sword as its convenience makes it really easy to steal if ever accidentally left on the rack. There’s no simple mechanism to secure the panniers to your rear rack (Ortlieb sells a locking device, but I haven’t tried it yet) so you must remove it and carry it with you any time you get off your bike out in public. It’s either that or chance it and leave your super expensive panniers on your bike rack and hope no one takes the half a second it would take to steal it and all it’s contents. Thankfully, both panniers have shoulder straps to make carrying a little easier.Overall This has been an excellent purchase for me and I’m sure I’ll be using this for years to come.Update, March 2025: almost 6 years later and the panniers are still perfect. Countless grocery store trips, countless rides in the rain, not a single thing wrong with it. Not even a hole, not even a single strand of fabric frayed. There are barely even any stains on it. Still completely waterproof, still works as well as the day I first installed it. This was my first Ortlieb purchase and I’m fully convinced their stuff is the greatest quality.

I live in a misty, moist climate and commute daily via a touring bike. I actually really like these bags! Great lime green color. LOTS of space. I only need to bring one along unless I plan to grocery shop on the way home. Quite waterproof. Great find. :)

Commute to work almost daily on my e-bike. I purchased these bags due to reputation and I am not disappointed. I pack clothes, lunch, and accessories for when I arrive at work, and this all fits into one bag. The other bag and be used to pick up groceries or other items on my commute home if needed.

Love these bags. I have the pro plus as well, but these are perfect size for everything I need on long trips except camping gear. I put that on the rack itself. Love the color, easy hook up and take off and easy to clean.Best price I have seen around.

Nice volume, these are Great panniers. Waterproof as advertised nice sturdy mounting points. I love the color of these bags kept me visible in gloomy weather and kept all my stuff dry after 8 hours of rain.
