Anyway to mount this on the back of the tv itself? Double sided tape doesn't aeem to hold for long.

If your TV is already wall mounted you are going to want to purchase our HIDEit VESA Adapter which hooks to the same screw that holds the Mount to your TV. Then the shield 2 mount will hook to that adapter. For more help please reach out.

Is this for the 2019 model the newest model?

Is there enough space around it to allow proper air flow or will this make my shield overheat?

This mount was designed to not block and ports or vents making it so there is no over heating issues.

Will this fit 2015 pro model?

No. HIDEit has another version that fits the original 2015 NVIDIA Shield, but it appears to be out of production on their website.
