This was a very good book for those homemakers and students who want to learn more or even Pastry Chefs to improve on their skills, I found making eclairs from the recipes in this book fairly easy to understand. I highly recommend it to anyone

Loved this book I ordered and would like to say that I absolutely appreciate that the measurements are in grams and ML so the previous rant review on there isn't grams there Is just next to the ingredients great book and addition to my pastry books

i had to use more eggs for a better result. Everything else it ok
God book and photos. The measure of the eggs for the choux pastry should be in grams, not units, i had to use more eggs for a better result. Everything else it ok.

Great selection of recipes
Please refer to my detailed comments on "Anonymous" 3/9/17. Photos are recipes for choux pastry, cassis cream, white chocolate glaze, and caramelized hazelnuts. Other recipes not in the book I incorporated are chocolate custard and pistachio syphon cake.

Estuve a punto de no comprar este libro por una mala reseña que leí sobre él. En la reseña decía que el libro no mostraba las cantidades en gramos sino en mililitros, pero no es así. Es verdad que todas las cantidades vienen en mililitros, pero también indica los gramos en los ingredientes que así lo requieren, y también viene en tazas y cucharadas para los casos en que no cuentes con una báscula. Lo ideal sería contar con báscula, tazas medidoras y cucharas medidoras, aunque puedes prescindir de la báscula si tienes éstas dos últimas. Y tal vez sea más cómodo tener todo en gramos si cuentas con la báscula de cocina, pero sólo basta hacer las anotaciones de los pesos la primera vez que realices una receta para tenerlos a la mano las siguientes veces que vayas a realizarla. Estoy encantada con este libro, hace mucho tiempo que un libro de cocina no me atrapaba de esta manera, y estoy ansiosa por probar las recetas que vienen en él. Sobre el envío y tiempo de espera, llegó 3 días antes de lo señalado, lo cual fue excelente también.
