Item does exactly what it says it would. Holds my violin. I didn't install it, my husband did but he's tall and I'm short and we have a large dog so I wanted it out of way to where it would not be able to be jumped on by mistake. I can get it down quickly and easily. I'm an adult learning how to play it.

It's perfect...holds the Viola, great! It's nice looking as well.

I have several of these and also a couple of the holders which fit onto a music stand. I could not function without them. They keep my instrument within easy reach to promote on-the-fly practicing...and my violin just looks cool hanging from it. They are secure and well-padded. A must have.

This violin wall hanger looks great and is sturdy. I already had a couple of these type hangers for my Guitars. This hanger matches the guitar hangers perfectly. The hook part of these hangers are universal, so if you wanted to reposition your instruments without removing the base from the wall, the hooks can be unscrewed and placed into one of the other hanger basses with no problem.
