Low acid was a big & pleasant surprise.
The idea of low-acid coffee was a new concept to me, but a friend suggested I try this coffee since he knows how much I love my coffee. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I like my coffee with both sugar and half&half, and I often find I'm using more sugar with some coffees versus others. This time, I used the same amount of sugar that I use in my morning coffee, and brewed it with a filter-drip coffee maker that grinds the beans automatically and immediately before brewing. To my surprise, this cup was too sweet, so it's must be the acidity that's causing me to use more sugar. That's a bonus from several perspectives. Diabetes runs in my family, however I'm not currently showing any signs of blood sugar issues, but cutting down on sugar can't be a bad thing. The flavor is somewhat milder than I'm accustomed to, as I like dark roasts, but this was both flavorful and smooth, with a gentle, pure coffee aroma, coupled with hints of caramel and vanilla. The scent of the unground beans we wasn't as bold as I typically expect, but the finished product didn't disappoint. The packaging is very appealing. The matte green and gold labeling and text on a matte white background is warm and inviting, with a certain natural, premium feel, and coencides with the message and objective of VitaCup, being fair-trade, organic and free of pesticides. The minimal use of glossy print, the sample cup of coffee, the words "PERFECT COFFEE", and the "SINGLE ORIGIN DARK ROAST" labels is eye-catching but not overbearing. The lack of flashy colors or cartoon-like graphics gives it a more serious and mature feel. I like the punch-list on one side, covering all the major selling points. I suffer from heartburn at times, and now I'm thinking it may be the acid in my coffee. It will be interesting to see how my body reacts to this low-acidity going forward. I am looking forward to making this coffee a part of my daily routine going forward and hope the experiences only get better.

WOW, I finally grounded a portion of Vitacup yesterday and it was extremely awesome and tasty. The aroma was breath taking. Yes, I will buy it again and again. Just to think I donโt drink coffee often, with VITACUP, the aroma reminds me of the golden days in the south. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโ โ๐ผ

Crisp and 'Clean' Coffee! ~ PERFECT Cups of Low-Acid Coffee
LOVE these coffee beans. These make a nice cup(s)--crisp, 'clean,' aromatic, medium bold, low-acid black coffee. TIP: Take the time to patiently pulse grind these coffee beans (using a coffee grinder or blender attachment), and gently use a French Press. Skip all of the added sugar/sweetener and cream/milk. Sit down, pour, and... Ahhhh... relax. VitaCup is just PERFECT, as is!

ok taste, but have to use too much to get dark roast making it expensive
It was important for me to get a coffee (when I drink it) that creating a bunch of junk my liver has to process so this checked the boxes. As far as "at-home" coffee, I would normally have cuban coffee. Anyway, It's ok taste, but I can't afford to regularly buy it. Fore reference: I use 4TBL of beans to be dark enough for me and what they say is standard for the size coffee press I have, get a little more than 4TBL grounds, add to 2 cups of water in a 17 oz coffee press which fills a 16 oz mug with a couple drips to spare and the bag of coffee beans is almost gone in 2 weeks. The bag says that it makes 28 cups, so seems to track. I've drank one of those 16 oz cups for 10 days. Probably should cut down to 8 oz and save the rest for the next day. I tried reusing the grounds once and obviously by doing that the coffee is no longer dark roast and less than appealing, so I don't know if I would advocate to do that. lol I appreciate the clean claim of it all and it's not a bad taste, but I would say if you are on a budget, that it's a good treat to have on hand if you don't drink coffee often to feel better about the quality you are putting in your body, but If you're a daily coffee drinker, like it DARK, want more than 8 oz a day and want something cost effective, this can get expensive.

My favorite cigfeeโฆ smooth, organic, low acud
My favorite coffee! You can make it as strong as needed, itโs full of flavor, arrived fresh, the tasting smooth and it arrives whole bean so we can grind fresh as needed. I have this on automation because I like the fact that it is organic and low acid. The strength of the coffee is perfect and it is a smooth cup of coffee without being weak.

Good coffee, happy stomach
Very good coffee, I love the taste! I quit coffee for 10 months and I was able to heal my ailing gut using aloe juice. I felt like I was developing an ulcer and between cutting out coffee and taking aloe juice on an empty stomach it healed, and I feel normal again. But any other replacement for coffee (strong black tea, or mushroom coffee alternatives) just weren't giving me the kick I needed to get up and go teach at 5:30am every morning. Well I just tried this coffee and it tastes great, and so far it has not upset my stomach. No creamer needed, I just use half and half and donโt feel the need for any sugar or anything else. Itโs only day two but I feel good about it! Will update if any issues arise.

OK flavor without mold.
Decent tasting coffee but not my favorite, not quite as full flavor as I would like but definitely low acid. I have problems with mold and I think this is clean coffee as I had no problems with it.

Not as it used to be
We bought this coffee frequently and loved it; it was smooth and so tasty! The recent order however, the coffee had a weird chemical taste. Wrote to seller and no response so far. Unfortunately, we will not risk ordering again.
