What's the shelf life of this product?

The package that I bought had a use by date of July 2014, which is 18 months after the purchase date so figure a shelf life of at least that length. As the malt contains enzymes, I would suggest storing the powder in the freezer along with your dry yeast.

How is the ratio of use of this product for, let's say 4 cups of flour...??? How many teaspoons or tablespoons...???

Depends on the bread I would use 1 t to 3 c flour, I get a very fine grain white bread with this amount. The package says 1/4 t per loaf.

Can you use this in recipes for a bread machine?

I'm old school and have never used a bread machine, but you shouldn't have a problem using it in yours. I add about a teaspoon for each pound of flour.
