These actually work better for you back than the back version. At least for me it does. Maybe it's the way my back bows or is shaped. I can stick one of these neck pads across the small of my back and it hits the right spot every time. Not sure at all how they do for my neck, never used one for that.

These are the best heat pads to help loosen up a stiff neck. If I get a stiff neck, I’ll put one on, sometimes overnight and it will feel unlocked and loosened the next day. I do wish they stuck on better. My only gripe is that they can fall off easily while sleeping so I sometimes try to secure it with athletic tape. I still give it 5 stars because they have helped my neck to get to a place where I can stretch and massage it.

I originally got these for my neck, as shown on the box photo. But the adhesive is horrible, wouldn't stay put. So, my knee also hurts (old age pains lol). Decided to put it over my knee, then use duct tape to tape over the product adhesive ends, to make it stay on. Worked like a charm. BUT, the product doesn't get hot, barely lukewarm. It does feel good, but wish it got a little warmer.

Can't get enough of these wraps. I actually use them on my lower back. I am very short and when I sit for a long time my lower back hurts terribly. If I have one of these wraps on it doesn't bother me as much. Also, another use is when I know we are going to be in a very cold environment I always add one to my lower back to keep me toasty warm. Used the whole time we were in Europe during the month of December. Everyone else was freezing and I was great. Would recommend them to anyone.

Ordered the back pain heat wrap, which works great. The neck wrap did not fail! These are great for pain.

This my worst Amazon purchase I’m the last 5 years. This product should be pulled inventory. It’s a scam. Doesn’t work. A 5th grader could design a better. Heat a joke, adhesive strips way too small to work

Update: I've now started purchasing the 11-pack box; it is by far the best deal on a per-unit basis. Still very happy with the quality and performance. Also, the expiration is more than two years out, so plenty of time to use them. Original Review: I've purchased these a couple of times, and they are the same as what you get in a store, but they come in a shrink-wrapped/bulk package. The expiration date on these is several years out, so no worries about them not working in the near future. Even though these are for neck and shoulder, I use them for lower back pain. They are much smaller than the back heating pads from ThermaCare, and for the pain I have, they work great. I often put them on when I go to bed at night, and they are still warm in the morning. The smaller size, compared to the back ones, makes them less bulky and easier to wear for longer periods. Highly recommend these; have not found any other one-time-use alternatives that work as well.
