Impressive product.
Clear instructions for fitting meant the 2 cameras and cables were installed easily enough. Handy the power for the rear cam comes from the front so no tapping to the car’s lights. The video quality is very good with an impressive front wide angle. The screen is a check but when viewed on my mobile the results are impressive. I can’t comment on night vision as yet. When purchased, the price was very competitive and combine this with good build and video quality and it’s an easy recommendation. One aspect I struggled with was pairing with my phone. I got about 90% done ok but I managed not to get it right and was ‘missing’ something. An email to RT Customer Services sorted it all out. Emma was outstanding with her prompt reply and list of points to answer my query. Nothing was too much trouble to complete the installation including a late finish I do think. I’d read favourable reports about the RT Customer Services: they are true. Recommended, highly.

Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam: main camera quality is brilliant
Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam: A Comprehensive Review for Road Safety and Peace of Mind As someone who values both cutting-edge technology and road safety, I'm excited to share my in-depth review of the Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam. Having thoroughly tested this device, I can confidently say it's a strong contender for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's recording capabilities. Unboxing and First Impressions The Red Tiger F7NP arrives in a compact package, immediately impressing with its sleek design. The unboxing experience reveals not only the main 4K dashcam but also a secondary rear camera, a 32GB microSD card (a thoughtful inclusion!), and a range of essential accessories like the power adapter, cable supports, and even an installation tool. The attention to detail in the packaging and included components is commendable. Key Features & Setup This dashcam is packed with features designed to enhance your driving experience and provide crucial evidence if needed. The standout features include: * Stunning 4K Resolution (Front Camera): The clarity of the front camera's 4K footage is exceptional, capturing sharp details that are vital for identifying license plates and other critical information. * Full HD 1080p (Rear Camera): While the rear camera records at 1080p, it still provides clear and reliable footage of what's happening behind your vehicle. * Built-in Wi-Fi and GPS: These features are incredibly convenient. Wi-Fi allows for easy access to your recordings via a smartphone app, while GPS accurately logs your speed and location, adding an extra layer of data to your videos. * Loop Recording & G-Sensor: Standard but essential features, ensuring continuous recording and automatically saving footage during collisions. Initial setup is straightforward. The menu is intuitive, allowing you to quickly select language, time zone, and customize settings like video resolution, audio recording, and G-sensor sensitivity. Installation – A Breeze with the Dongar Adapter One of the highlights of my installation was using the optional Dongar adapter that I bought separately. This ingenious accessory allows the dashcam to draw power directly from your car's rearview mirror, eliminating the need for a long, visible cable running to the 12V connector. This seamlessly integrates into the car's existing wiring, resulting in a much cleaner and more professional-looking installation. Performance: Video and Audio Quality The true test of any dashcam is its recording quality, and the Red Tiger F7NP truly shines here. * Video Quality: I was particularly impressed with the front camera's 4K clarity in various lighting conditions. Daytime footage is crisp and vibrant, and even in challenging morning and nighttime scenarios, the camera maintains excellent detail. The dual-camera view is a fantastic feature, allowing you to see both front and rear perspectives simultaneously. While the rear camera's 1080p resolution is good, it's important to ensure optimal placement to avoid any obstructions, as I initially experienced a minor shadow due to placement. * Audio Quality: The dashcam also captures clear audio, which can be crucial in documenting incidents. Conclusion The Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam is an excellent investment for anyone seeking a reliable, feature-rich, and high-performing dashcam. Its 4K front camera, comprehensive features, and user-friendly design make it a standout product in its category. The optional Dongar adapter is a game-changer for a clean installation, and the overall video and audio quality provide peace of mind on the road. I highly recommend this dashcam for its quality and value.

Good price, good quality, easy to install and setup, truly peace of mind
After receiving the camera, I was immediately impressed by the quality of the box. It felt like I had bought Apple equipment, and I immediately thought that the manufacturer would not have spent money on packaging if the item inside was cheap. I was also impressed by the transparent film with an anatomical image of the camera and a description of all its parts. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, with a video on YouTube and inside the box, so setup and installation were no problem. You can see the video quality for yourself; I will add it to this review. I also registered the camera for an 18-month warranty, which was also very quick and easy. If this camera lasts at least a year and a half, I think the price is fair, and maybe even low. My neighbor bought a camera that was 40% more expensive, and it doesn't deliver the required number of frames per second in 4K, so he shoots in Full HD to avoid blurring the video, but this little one shoots without any problems.

Excellent system
Very pleased with this DashCam. Very easy to fit - my Omoda 5 has USB socket on the rear-view mirror unit, so with a shorter cable that was really easy. The rear camera was a little harder with the length of cable to run to the front, but we managed to tuck the extra length away without trouble. The images are clear as is the sound. Not tried it at night yet, though. Uploading and viewing video to PC simple. Very happy.

High quality and good value for money.
The kit was delivered in a high quality box with everything needed to plug in and work with minimal set up. The instructions are simple to follow but I think most people would find the settings quite easy to follow simply by plugging it in and having a play with the buttons. Having been a user of dashcams for the last 15 years, I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality & feel of the unit. The gps module is part of the mounting bracket which sticks easily to the screen and in turn, the camera is held in place on the slide-on bracket by a strong magnet. Although delivered with a 32gb card, I fitted a good quality 256gb memory card to give me plenty of storage capacity at the highest quality camera settings. The app was easy enough to download and use on the Android platform and the desktop app on windows works without issue and provide all relevant details. I have yet to try the rear view camera which is not so easy to fit in my 4x4 pickup which also has a rear canopy - The window of which I can never really see through due to the dust & muck attracted to the rear window! Luckily my truck driving experience has taught me to rely on my wing mirrors rather the rear view. I am considering setting this camera up as an 'in cab' monitor. The sound quality of the recordings is good - I just pray that in the event that I have an incident that requires me to produce the footage, I have some decent music playing and that I'm not, god forbid, singing! The night vision seems good. I am mostly in rural areas but the first trip for me included rural & dark main roads, plus lit motorway and towns so a good mixture and appears good throughout. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the unit and having given it a good test to prove the capability and quality, I will now fit the hard wire kit. One of the main reasons I chose this unit was the Super capacitor rather than a battery which from personal experience have found do not like potential wide range of temperatures in cars. I may add to my review once I have experience of the summer temperatures. Compared to other cameras & kit on the market, I would recommend that you add this to your final list for serious consideration.

They had a good idea, but failed to finish product software design, support very poor
Positives - Reasonably priced compared to Nextbase equivalent, compact design, cables supplied long and easily connected, optional hard wire kit comprehensive (but over-priced), 32GB memory card included, daytime images are good front and rear, night image is just okay but Nextbase 522 is much better (higher quality lens and image sensor), display on camera good, menu fast and responsive Negatives - Contacted support through app three times no response, fundamental fail on connectivity design - Nextbase use Bluetooth to connect, once paired camera always connects to app, RedTiger uses Wi-Fi, which requires manual connection every time on camera and app and phone Wi-Fi, eveytime you get in the vehicle you have to fiddle with the camera menus to switch it on and fiddle with the phone Wi-Fi through the app which often forgets the password. This is a bad design flaw for users who need to connect every time, for example taxi drivers, delivery drivers and driving instructors, you need to connection for rear camera when reversing. Ten years ago, even five years ago we accepted fiddly connections, now things should just work after initial setup I bought two of these sets to arrange the four camera around the car, hard wired creating a Tesla Sentry type setup. I park the car in city carparks often. I fixed the two main cameras to the front and rear screens, the small cameras are attached to the rear door windows behind privacy glass, pretty much 360 protection I have to get in the back seat everytime want to connect that camera to the app. My Nextbase 522 camera was tuck behind the rear view mirror not obstructing the road view, the RedTiger has to be positioned in an accessible place to get at the buttons and see the screen, flicking buttons and going through menus to switch on connection, we're into driving legality grey area, by law dash cams should not obstruct view on the windscreen Will update if they can fixed the firmware so it just connects when their app opens

Best dash cam
Best dash cam I have ever used the image and video quality is top notch. Very easy to setup and installation is damn easy straightforward but do get the hardwire so it’s all hassle free and wires dangling around.

Superb value for money and a great quality camera.
Probably one of, if not the best bang for buck value dashcam's on the market, and that's before accounting for sale prices. Comes with a complete kit for sitting the front and rear camera and tools to help hide cables. I've already bought multiple not just for myself but for family as well. The main camera has a great 4k resolution and some of the best night vision capability I've seen. Visual quality is beaten only by camera's and brands that are substantially more expensive, and usually only come in a single camera kit. Not to mention they will not have an included SD card, let a lone a 128gb one. The rear camera is only 1080p, and does have a tendency to be blinded by bright lights. Especially modern LED and laser headlights. But I've yet to find any camera with a lens that could truly beat those. Comes with analogue functionality, as well as an optional App that turned out to be reasonably good and much better than expected. The box will usually say it has an 18month warranty, however the Red Tiger website indicates that it is infact 24 month. Which can also be another factor to include.
