Laptop Desk Nnewvante Table Adjustable Bamboo Foldable Breakfast Serving Bed Tray w' Tilting Top Drawer

I went through a ridiculous amount of listings to settle on this one. Had it for a few weeks now, I have zero complaints. Stable, sturdy, very adjustable. It is made with thick bamboo, the hardware is good quality, and once it is set in place it does not budge. I got this one because my cat had a bad habit of knocking over my cheap and wobbly floor desk every time I set a mug on it. I think this table will outlive the cat. Because it is bamboo it is not heavy to move around though—- it is the legs locking in place that makes it so stable, not an inherent weight. The bamboo is good quality and I’m fairly sure it was lacquered. I do artwork and homework on this and it is very easy to wipe down. Only thing I would be aware of is that the little drawer only holds the computer catcher thing, the included mousepad, and a few writing utensils. Don’t expect more from it than that. However that’s all it needs to do.

I took a chance on this lap desk and I’m so glad I did. It is nearly perfect for my use on the living room sofa. Pros * The height, at its shortest, is perfect for typing while I am on the sofa. No more awkwardly balancing my laptop or my iPad in my lap to type! * It’s very simple to adjust. I don’t anticipate needing to extend the legs, but it’s really easy to do. Likewise, I probably won’t need to use the tilting top, but it’s also very simple to set up. * It’s very sturdy and stable. Rock solid on a table top. * The piece that keeps a laptop from sliding off when you have the desktop tilted is removable. In fact, it comes detached and tucked into the drawer. That’s great because it would otherwise be in the way. * It is beautiful and the craftsmanship is top notch. Cons * The drawer is super tight in the slides. It’s very hard to open. Once it’s open, it’s hard to close. For me, that’s not a big enough deal to warrant removing a star. This is a great piece of furniture. The creator obviously put a lot of thought into its design. It’s attractive and functional and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

This laptop desk is just the thing I needed to make working from home easier. I set it on top of my desk, over my keyboard, so I can use my company-issued laptop at the same time as my home computer to do my job. It's minimum height adjustment is still a bit taller than is comfortable in this arrangement, but it's still lower than the measurements I've seen for most non-adjustable lap tables. It fits comfortably over my keyboard, which is full sized with a ten-key, and I still have enough room for my stationary mouse on the desk. All the listed features work well, the one exception being the small drawer on the side. As others have noted it sticks, does not open easily, and in my case will not open the entire way. Personally I don't care as I only ever intended to use it to store the set of rubber feet that weren't currently in use. It could even be a good thing as it means I don't need to worry about it sliding open while I'm moving the table and dumping things out. If the drawer is a selling point for you you may be disappointed. It would have been nice if the table had a raised lip around the edge to keep pens and other things from rolling off. I considered other products that had this option, but it was more important to have the adjustable height legs and leg locks; I'd rather it not shift and tip over and dump my laptop on the floor. It is reasonably sturdy, and I like that this seller actually lists the specific weight it is tested for, instead of being vague and saying that it was tested “for a certain weight” as some others have in their listings. Over all a good product, with many adjustable features to accommodate different positions, and safety latches to keep those features from adjusting themselves by accident while you use or store it.

I just received this today and it looks amazing. The only real issue i had was the removable stopper for the laptop was stuck inside the drawer behind the drawer stop. I was able to get it out but took some effort so I didnt damage anything. The other issue which isn't a problem for me is that the slot designed to hold your phone will not work with my phone case because it makes the phone to wide. Other than that it appears to be great quality. The fan is larger than I expected which is nice and it is extremely quiet. It puts out decent air, more than expect with how quiet it is. My 16" gaming laptop fits on it well and it came with a rather nice mouse pad which I wasn't expecting so that was a nice surprise.

Excellent quality. Extremely useful if you want to work in a laying position. I will use this for working on my laptop and for painting/drawing. The right side of the tray is perfect for a mouse pad or for a place to put brushes/paint when the working surface is inclined at an angle. The drawer is large enough to hold writing utensils a mouse, or cables.

It's a great product, 5 stars. But it's too wide for couch lounging, i.e. sitting sideways with legs up. Of course, it's perfect for the bed, but that's not where I do most of my work. Unfortunately, I'll need to return it. (Memo to myself: Next time measure before ordering, birdbrain!!!

I really do love this desk! I use it as my art desk for drawing on my tablet PC. My tablet overheats very easily, so the fan is helpful. I haven't had any bending or warping after months of use, but then I also have a vacuum fan on my tablet and am meticulous about not letting it overheat because the CPU throttles and renders it useless. It's possible users who did have wood warping were letting their devices run a lot hotter. The overall design is very aesthetically pleasing, and I loved the aesthetics of the single fan cutout. Some possible flaws you might want to consider though--these didn't bother me enough to give it less than five stars, but I noticed them: - The gaps around the fan are quite wide, broad enough to stick a finger through. I've had things fall through and interfere with the fan. I've also poked it once or twice with my fingers, mostly from underneath as I was holding it weirdly while drawing. The fan blades are soft enough and the motor weak enough that this won't actually hurt your fingers any, but it's disconcerting. If you have kids you might want to be especially wary of that. - The drawer was difficult to slide in and out, though I lubed the grooves with coconut oil and that seems to have fixed it. It might have been intentional so the drawer doesn't open accidentally, but it was hard to open intentionally, too. - For the latches in the side, the hole didn't line up perfectly on one side. I was able to force this and it worked well enough after, but that kind of small misalignment is probably common on this type of item. - The thing I wish most was different is that the way to extend the legs takes too long. You have four plastic wingnuts you have to loosen and then tighten again, fiddling with the length of the legs and trying to get it all even. I know I sound like a lazy, entitled American, but little speed bumps like that make me less likely to pull it out. Instead of four wingnuts and having to figure out clockwise/counterclockwise facing two different directions, sometimes hurting my fingers trying to loosen them and then making sure they're tight enough again that they won't slip, I would prefer something simpler to operate and faster--a latch, a switch, something like that. This solution feels very simple and low-tech. - The positions are somewhat limited, like you can't have it at closer to vertical angles without modding it, which you might not need for a laptop but is useful for a big tablet sometimes. All that said, I don't regret a thing. This was still probably going to be the best option in my price range, and it really is a beautiful and well-made item. I often admire the craftsmanship, and think about how parts of it at least are probably handmade.

Can you love a laptop desk? Well... it turns out you can! This thing is great! Really high quality, love the smooth finish on the surface and the legs are sturdy and lock into place. It is heavy enough to be durable, but not too heavy so I can move it from room to room in the house. I did a ton of product comparisons before settling on this one and am so glad I got this. I wasn't sure if I wanted this size or the larger size as I wanted room for my mouse and mouse pad on the right. It's the perfect fit. I don't feel like I'm running out of room and I'm also not restricted in where I can sit because it isn't oversized. The little drawer is so cute. Holds my cell phone and some pens and pencils as well as the little wooden piece that you can put in place if you want to adjust the incline on the one side of the desk. My plan is to use this for my laptop some days, but also be able to use it as an art desk other days, as I am both an artist traditionally and digitally. It's the perfect companion to my work/life balance. I especially liked that it was already setup in the box. Not a fan of putting furniture together. Did I mention it smells amazing (which is just a nice bonus, hahaha). Looks great and really high quality. I hope you found this review helpful!

Very well designed, you can tell a lot of thought had gone into it. Item is exactly as described. Item is very sturdy, solid quality, heavier than I expected but speaks to it's high quality! Love that it came with instructions on how to maintain the bamboo too, a sense of love and care from its makers that comes through whenever I use it. Was a little out of my original budget to be honest, but I'm so glad I bit the bullet and went ahead instead of getting the Ikea one, I love using this on my day bed and love how customisable it is, from it's height, whether you wanna use it to write/draw or put the tabletop up on an angle to hold a laptop etc etc - very versatile. Added bonus is that the leg heights are fully adjustable, so you could still use this table even if you're on an uneven surface. Only minor complaint was that I wish the side drawer were just 2, 3mm deeper height wise so I could fit my flat travel mouse in it when I wanna pack things away, but thats being a little nit picky (as if you could cater for every kind of mouse out there anyway!), though disappointed it still wasn't enough for me to knock the review down a star. Glad I went for the bigger size too, it's just perfect.

Be warned: the cable for the usb-powered fan is a little short. I have a USB dongle and so I could use that to give the cable a bit of extra length. That being said, the fan is powerful, the table is free of defects and is sturdy and made from bamboo. It's an attractive piece, and useful, and I like that you can lock the legs in place and that the legs are height adjustable. I've used this as a laptop table, but also just as a table to eat breakfast in bed. At the price, you really can't complain.
