Beautiful piece and functional. Lit it's even more beautiful

This was a great Christmas gift. I got it for a family member who is a coal miner and this was a wonderful gift for him. I know that he holds onto this with high regard. I will say amazons variety for this “trade” was very limited which was sad. I wish I could have gotten him a few more momentum’s for his 25+ years in the mines.

This little lamp works as advertised. It does not make a lot of smoke, but can of course get pretty warm to the touch. I know one should carefully read the description, but the small size is less evident in the listing photos.

I was very excited when I received it at the end of the summer. It looks good and is made of solid brass, with a nice sturdy appearance. I kept it as a Christmas gift for my wife. So I had not tried until now. What a letdown. It's leaking like crazy. What a huge disappointment. I can not recommend it, and now totally regret the purchase.

Not designed to throw out a lot of light like the larger models. will be perfect for a tent marker though

Bought this to try using vegetable oil as a backup lamp,,, works great,,, maybe not quite as bright as if i used lamp oil, but the house is tight, so wanted to use a non petroleum base fuel…

This is a beautiful piece, and the quality shows. It is far better than I expected. Being solid brass, it does get quit hot and to be expected. If your looking for a unique and beautiful piece, don't pass this up. Highly highly recommended.

Also, holds on;ly a very small amount of oil - perhaps by design given the leak issue, or perhaps the leak is a consequence of the small tank. Solid brass, and looks good, but it's important not to overfill the small tank obviously.
