Set up, no issues, bought so I can boil the kettle on the way home, as it was always a winter thought about being able to make a hot drink faster if the kettle was already boiled & waiting (what a dream). Having various temp settings is a really nice bonus. So the time came, my old one started leaking & I bought this... excitedly. It's sleek, smart & relatively quiet as far as kettles go, boils fast. It's set up with Google home/assistant too has it's own app. Apparently theres a baby bottle mode, not really looked into this as that time has passed. The only issue we now have is NO ONE in this house leaves water in the kettle. It's always empty, so being able to say "Google or Alexa... boil the kettle" is no good, I have to get up, to check & fill it! *sigh* dream was good while it lasted. But it is a good kettle, really lightweight. Daughter loves the variation of temperature for her many different teas, not certain she's used the app yet. Would be good if it could sense water over 3inch being in it though.

Absolutely love this , easy to set up. Feels a solid product , looks good , various temperatures depending on what you are making , great value for the tech you get ,obviously easy to use manually or via voice , wake up in the morning ask Alex to turn on kettle get downstairs and its boiled , only downside it doesn't fill itself up 🤣

This is a most interesting kettle. It arrived well packaged, with some detailed instructions. Please see photos and video The overall quality of the metal casing is decent, but not very thick or substantial. However, it does the job. The lid is a little stiff to open and close but it has worked each and every time we have used it, and we use it a lot. The kettle engages well with the stand and certain one touch temperatures can be set from there. A more gradual control is to integrate the kettle with Alexa, vis the Smart Life App. You absolutely need to make sure that your WiFi has 2.4Ghz, similar for many smart home appliances. It absolutely will fail to connect to a 5Ghz WiFi. Once connected to the WiFi- easy enough to do visa the Smart Life App then Alexa, providing the Smart Life App is associated with the Alexa App, will then allow remote control. Saying things like "Alexa, what is the current temperature of the kettle" will work fine. Also "Alexa, kettle 90" will set the temperature target to 90c and turn on the kettle. You must NOT add the word "degree" to that sentence, it fails for us if we do that. You can use 1 degree increments for the kettle when using Alexa voice control. We checked the actual temperature with both a infra red tester and a glass thermometer. The temperature is most accurate. It does not over boil either. Switching off immediately when it reaches 100c. We do get a notification on our phones when the kettle is on and then when the target temp is reached, that is via the Smart Life App. It would have been nice if Alexa would have vocally told us, that does not happen. Our router is placed quite some distance away from the kettle, about twenty feet through a double wall. It has never failed with the connection. It is not particular noisy, see video. The brushed metal finish can mark, typical of brushed metal. Easy enough to clean though. The spout is just ok for pouring. You absolutely cannot rush it, if you do then it gushes to the sides. It is ok, as long as you realise that. What I would have liked..... Voice integration with Alexa to tell us when the kettle has heated up. 3kw rather than 1.7kw for faster heating of water. Perhaps a thicker metal, as it does feel a little flimsy. Improvements to the spout for pouring Water level gauge sensor built in to be used by Alexa, to prevent it turning on if too little water is in the kettle. Overall we are impressed by the kettle, the remote function being most useful. Depending how much you pay for this, we got it on a deal, I would recommend it. I do hope this review has helped you.

This is the 2nd Weekett kettle that we have purchased, the first one lasted over 2yrs and we only changed it because it bolid dry, (our fault) and stained the base. (we never used it as a smart kettle). The 2nd one worked great having connected it to the FREE app and ALEXA for about 3months before something went wrong and it would not stay switched on to boil water. (WIFI or manuel). Contacted Customer service, and after sending video of fault and proving purchese dates etc, a new Kettle was sent by return postage, all set up and connected to the FREE app and Alexa, working great for the passed week..... Great Kettle for our use and works well....

I bought this kettle to make it easier for my mum to use due to mobility issues. Firstly, if you want to use the 'smart features', it is important to know that you need to install a separate app. Fine. To be able to use the smart features, you need to pay an additional subscription to said app. Not fine. The app is not user friendly and essentially all it allows you to do (for £40/year) is use your phone to boil the kettle. I bought the subscription because I felt responsible for buying the kettle in the first place, but it won't let me add anyone else to the group. The support for the app is very poor Secondly, the kettle takes a long time to boil!! If you're in a rush, you might as well fill a pan and boil your water on the hob. When the kettle has finally finished boiling, it beeps obnoxiously loud 3 times which I haven't found a way of turning off. When you're ready to pour your water, you need to allow for about 70% wastage as most of it ends up on the surface and floor - keep a towel ready! Thirdly, the keep warm function is not as useful as you might think. I thought this was a really good feature when reading the description, however, it operates by bringing the water up to the specified temperature, then just persistently cools down a few degrees then reboils, over and over for an hour. It's a nice feature in theory, but in practice is incredibly annoying! Also, for clarity, it's not an Alexa kettle, it just works with Alexa. I have used this kettle enough to be able to honestly say that I would strongly advise people not to buy this kettle - it takes ages to boil, you have to pay extra for the smart features, it pours water mostly on the floor, has a few annoying features, and I really, really wish I hadn't bought it!

Not a very smart kettle at all. Was disappointing to learn there are only four preset temperatures possible, none of which is 95 degrees the most common temperature used for brewing coffee with a variety of methods such as Chemex, V60 or Aeropress. The lid does not open full either which makes filling from a water filter jug more of an ordeal than it needs to be.

Wanted a kettle that Alexa could switch on & off, needed to pair with Tuya app for Alexa to work. Honestly this kettle was the best one out of a few that i looked at, its probably the dearest in price but its performance makes it worthwhile, its from the UK so had to use a power socket adapter. Was easy to connect to wifi in Tuya app, easy to use via mobile with adjustable temp settings, keep warm & timer settings. Theres only one downfall it sends notifications via the app every time kettle turns on & off and the only setting to stop this stops all notifications from app. But i can put up with that. So far im very impressed with this weekett wifi kettle.

The item came perfectly packaged and unboxing was simple. Setup was a breeze using the Smart Life app and linking it to my google home was just as easy. The kettle is well constructed and a good additon to my kitchen counter. It heats water quickly and the temperature appears to be accurate. I would whole heartedly recommend this product to any who wants a smart kettle that's easy to use.

Ah it's a nuisance..it pauses 4 or 5 times on the way to 100° as if it forgets what 'boiling' is. Steam comes out all around the lid when it's thinking about the 100° mark. Who really needs a 'smart' kettle - its not smart enough to fill itself with water so you're going to have to go over to it anyway..
