TYR Alliance Backpack, Black, 30 Liter

The backpack arrived quickly and was just what I was expecting. Lots of storage and great for a travel carry-on.

I was looking for a backpack since my daughter swimsuit 6 days ago week. This is a very spacious backpack and has room for so many things. She is able to fit her 2 swim suits, pants, 2 towels, googles, and her snack bag for her swim meets. This is a very spacious backpack.

With all these COVID rules, I pretty much have to take my whole house with me to the Y when I swim, so this bag is really out-preforming itself these days. It is super roomy so yes, the kitchen sink fits, too! It's easy to access everything in your bag with the way they designed to top opening. It has tons of zippered pockets, a few carabiners and heavy duty zipper pulls. I love the separate space for wet shoes. I'm a tiny person and the well designed straps make it easy to carry a full and heavy load. But the best part is that the back pack has a rigid back support that keeps it upright and open. It’s not floppy. It doesn’t collapse on itself. It won’t fall over. It stays put and it stays open. No spills. And the bottom is covered with heavy duty waterproof material that extends up the sides so there’s no wicking of yucky pool water or gym dirt.

My main exercise is swimming nowadays and I spend an hour in the pool each session. I generally carry a full change of clothes and accessories to the pool. Additionally I include chloride neutralizer body wash and lotion which increase the load on the bag. Winter clothing increases the load and I include 2 24x60 Quick dry towels…all fit well in the bag. The bag is definitely sturdy and after using it for the past few months I believe it’ll hold up well to everyday use. The capacity of the bag is excellent and the size is perfect for my needs. The only “minor” issue I have is that the YMCA lockers are a bit narrow (I assume they’re standard sized) and the bag is a bit wider on the bottom. I wind up having compress the bottom and push the bag into the locker. I hope that the “push” doesn’t add wear and tear to the bag. Otherwise I’m satisfied with the bag. Due to its size it may just become my winter bag and I may switch back to a smaller bag in the summer when my clothing requirements are fewer. Great bag overall.

Larger than a lot of swim bags we have looked at. It's been great for my swimmer, especially for travel/multiple day meets. Bag is sturdy and has perfect amount of pockets and has a bag for wet clothes.

This backpack is exactly what I was looking for in size and depth. I am a competitive swimmer but tired of the large 45L bags. This is right inbetween. I took this to Europe and I liked the fact that the zipper on the top zips away so that the opening opens near the straps or near my back and not facing outwards. Zippered sunglass section and my pens and pencils are secure in the pencil pouch inside the outside zippered half mesh and half fabric pocket. Secure shoe or wet compartment on the bottom and also side entry pocket on front. Padded iPad sleeve section inside. My fav bag yet and I’ve had many bags over many years of swim and coaching. Thank you!

Ein sehr bequemer, geräumiger und schöner Rucksack !! Wurde mittlerweile zum zweiten Mal gekauft, da jetzt jeder aus der Familie so einen will. Der ist sehr angenehm zum tragen und bietet viel Platz für alles mögliche !! Ich kann diesen Rucksack wirklich jedem empfohlen!!

El diseño es funcional y elegante. Los compartimentos y bolsillos están bien distribuidos, lo que hace que sea fácil mantener mis cosas organizadas. También me gusta el hecho de que la mochila tiene un compartimento especialmente diseñado para llevar neoprenos o artículos húmedos sin que afecten al resto. La durabilidad de la TYR Alliance 30l es evidente en su construcción. Los materiales parecen resistentes y de calidad, lo que sugiere que la mochila podrá soportar un uso constante y el peso de mis objetos deportivos. En términos de comodidad, los tirantes acolchados y ajustables hacen que llevar la mochila sea bastante cómodo, incluso cuando está cargada. También me gusta que el diseño ergonómico evita que la mochila cuelgue incómodamente de mi espalda.

Fabulous rucksack that I use for gym and swimming. I had the small pink and black TYR one, previously, that I used most days for four years. As it was (not surprisingly) going a bit ragged, I bought a replacement and treated myself to a different model. I love this one even more and can get all my clobber in. The mesh pocket at the front is great for wet gear, and I prefer the pockets to the other model I had. I am 5'3'' and it sits comfortably on my back, too. Very satisfied.
