Orange with Vitamin C 100mg 36 Lozenges by Strepsils

I bought these for the first time in an airport pharmacy in Portugal when I came down with a bad cold on vacation. They were delicious and really soothing. Now I've learned that the antiseptic in them is really effective... many times I have thought maybe I was coming down with a sore throat, had a couple of these, and then not gotten sick. I am not suggesting they cure every sore throat or cold. But I am saying they are delicious, come in an easy to open blister pack that you can easily take anywhere, relieve a sore throat, and, in my experience, maybe help stop a cold from getting worse. Maybe. Sadly, they are not a great value only because they are so expensive in the US and hard to get. I get them here when I can, and sometimes I order from a pharmacy in Australia. That's how much I like them. But because they are so expensive I've given the entire house a lecture on when to use them... only when you think you are coming down with something or are truly sick. To me, while they are delicious and the perfect strength for every day use, they are too expensive to use for just a dry throat, allergy relief, or a tickle. I buy cheap brands for that. We reserve these for "I feel a cold coming on" or "I wonder if this sore throat is a real illness".

America needs to JUMP on these cough drops. The only cough drops that ACTUALLY work for me! They have a numbing and soothing affect. I feel like they actually help me heal while also providing soothing numbness to my sore throat!!

The only lozenges that don’t burn my tongue and actually work. Actually tastes like orange and isn’t overwhelming. Doesn’t leave a strong aftertaste.

It's what it says on the box and I always like to have some available to start sucking as soon as sore throat symptoms appear. A really great remedy.

Love these they taste decent and I’ve stopped me from getting sick/shorten the duration of multiple colds, especially with having a toddler at home
