I'm buying this for a friend of mine who lives in NYC. I'm worried it will be stolen off his bike though... is this easily removed and stolen?

Yes, you have to remove it a half turn to pull it off to install batteries unplug the button rotated, 180° and stick it in your pocket unless that person gets mugged it won’t get stolen

Is it possible to get a longer cord? I want to mount it on my seat post facing backwards so I can alert cars coming up behind me.

Is it easy to replace the batteries while the horn is mounted or does the horn need to be removed to get to battery compartment ?

Yes it is easy to replace the batteries. To change the batteries, unplug the thumb button wire, then turn the horn body 90 degrees (quick release) and lift off the handlebar bracket. Replace batteries, then reverse the above procedure. Re-Plug the thumb button wire. The horn works very well and load enough for people to hear you coming.

Unit works fine, but it sounds like there's a loose piece of plastic inside that rattles around when I shake the unit? Is that normal?

No! It should not sound like a rattle. If you are very concerned ask if you can return it for a replacement. Even if you are passed the return deadline, a reasonable company will allow for a replacement.

Es un salva vida

Un espectáculo te salva la vida se escucha muy fuerte los coches paran y dan paso en las rotondas aun que sean con ventanas subidas. Lo recomiendo muchisimo esta hecho de materiales de calidad se puede montar y quitar fácilmente. Eso si si no lo montes permenente en el manillar la probabilidad que te lo rroban es muy alta asi que no hay que olvidar quitarla cuando guardes la bici en la calle

Facile à installer et très bruyant

Je n'ai pas eu de difficulté à l'installer. Le mode d'emploi était clair d'en mes souvenir. Après plusieurs mois d'usage, rien à signaler d'alarmant. Dommage que qu'on ne peut pas gérer le volume car c'est vraiment fort fort bruyant même pour le cycliste.
