Q: Can this hold 5x8 index cards comfortably?

I went back and made a video with a 5 x 7 and a 5 x 8 card. The 5 x 8 does not fit and the 5x 7 does not lay flat.

Q: When it says it hold 80+ pens is that each box or all four?

Of course it depends on the size of the pens but I would guess EACH BOX would hold anywhere from 60-80 pens. If they are Bics, 80 would be a good number.

Q: Is this container considered 4 quart?

Quart = 4 cups, general used as a purpose storge container any thing you want.

Q: Are these containers considered air tight? planning to store markers and paints. tia

No they are not air tight. There is no seal on the boxes
