Absolutely terrific piece of equipment for the price
I'm really impressed with the quality of this piece of test equipment. It works as well as my Pico at a fraction of the cost. The big advantage is that it is portable, comfortably fits in the hand and easy to use for any testing that requires two channels or less. Amazing what some of the newer Chinese products can do. China is coming out of their cheap and dirty phase and starting to produce some outstanding equipment as very affordable prices.

Great for Field Service Use
A constant struggle for me has been teaching, I mean instructing (teaching implies learning) some of my company's newer technicians how to troubleshoot analog modems. And provide them means to positively identify FSK modulating on an analog pair. Especially when working with Telco. This little scope really fits my criteria for this as well as working with tone remote devices. Low cost, relatively easy use, light, and small. I recommend this for communication technicians toolbox.

This is awesome
This thing is the best as a service tech. Carrying a full scope is a pain, but this is not much larger than a meter and performs the duties of both. It comes with two sets of both leads and probes, and one of the lead sets is modular (with the option to screw on clips.) The only complaint I have so far is that the case isn't large enough to fit a set of probes as well. Overall, this is a great tool.

Almost great but...
I bought this because I needed a portable un-grounded 'scope and this was highly praised in a bunch of YouTube video reviews. I really wanted to like this but ended up returning it after a couple of days. Hardware-wise, this thing seems really good. It took very accurate measurements and I was impressed with how well the oscilloscope performed. It's just really too bad about the firmware. The major problem I had with it is the firmware/operating system is very buggy and some of the functions were just missing or didn't work properly. It felt like I was using an unfinished beta version of the OS where the experience was clunky and poorly designed. However, the stated system version was 5.5.0 which is relatively new. I tried to email OWON about the bugs I found and to see if I could get an updated firmware but they never responded. The contact form and live chat feature on their website are broken. I did not try calling the Chinese telephone number. Doing some research on the various EE forums, the bugs I'd encountered seem to have been around as far back as version 3.x.x of the firmware, so I'm not super confident that they will ever get fixed in this product's lifecycle, but that's just speculation. If you really need a handheld 'scope, this one is what I'd call "pretty good" and definitely better than many of the other cheaper options available. But honestly I would maybe wait to see if they eventually update (finish) the OS, or save up for a little longer get a new or second-hand 'scope from a more reputable brand. I think I would prefer something like a much older but similar-spec'd Fluke Scopemeter or Tektronix THS, just in terms of a reliable user experience.
