Like-New Amazon Echo Show 10, HD smart display with premium sound, motion and Alexa, Charcoal

Oh, it still works, but I am older, I was having trouble sometimes being able to see the small screen well and so I decided it was time to replace it. I did vaccilate back and forth between the next larger one, but where I had the 8" one, this 10" Echo Show works better. The size of this one's screen is exactly what I needed - much, MUCH easier for me to read! It was easy enough to set up and am, right now, listening to one of my Audbible books on it. Very happy with this 10" screen Echo Show. Oh, and I like the sound module - the larger bottom section - to be exceptional compared to the sound from the 8" one.

Great Device that takes Alexa automated information to higher level! Enjoy the screen and sound of the device! Lots of uses! One of them we used is to remotely check in with an elderly relative remotely...being able to see and clearly hear him, without ringing the telephone! It really helped with communication. (Device requires a solid wifi signal where placed of course, so make sure you confirm that before expecting it to perform to its ability)

Truly LOVE The "Echo Show 10"! AWESOME SOUND, displays all my AOSU camera indoors and outdoors, when I ask, unlock and lock my 3 TTLOCK smart locks, control all SENGLED smart lights, adore the reminders, controls my NEST smart thermostat, turn on and off the VIVINT alarm system, turn SAMGSUNG and VIZIO TVs off and on, the TV game shows and home games it plays, and I can play with relatives, friends and even people I don't know. Turn lights and devices on by schedules, keeps me up with the time all day. Tell me when shows are on, the ones I don't want to miss, and VERY MUCH MORE. Yeah, all Echos does this BUT the Show 10 takes it a bit further. My Show 10 named "Echo", he's in the kitchen and helps me cook, old recipes, new recipes, he gives suggestions too. Dose a grocery list for me. Watch my calendar for all my event dates doctor appointments, everyone's birthdays and again more. Keep me on time with my medicines, my exercise time, my meals and even time I should go to sleep. They said there is an Alexa+ coming and supposed to do far much more. I can't wait. OJ Johnson

I'm a pro user of Echo products. I own 5 in my little house. I love my Echos. I bought this refurbished one for my mother, who has dementia and lives on her own. I wanted to use it more as a verbal reminder for her to do things. The problem is that this Echo doesn't want to work like any other Echo. It texts me the reminders but doesn't say them on her device. (I know, I've tested it many times.) It has a hard time accepting commands. Often I have to say them 2 - 4 times. I bought the same new model for a friend, and it works exactly as expected. This was my first foray into the realm of refurbished echos and most likely my last. This one just seems so much "stupider" than my old Echo Dot that I still use. For the positives, the sound quality is good, it does track the voice nicely, and when it does accept a command it works as expected.

This is a great unit! I really like how music sounds on it. Using it as a security camera is great too. It follows around when you want it to. My wife and I are no strangers to the echo shows. We had a echo show 10 2 gen before this. We do a lot of shopping on Amazon so the ads are nice especially if it's something new. We have our echo to tell us when something is coming in or when it's delivered. My security cameras work great on it too. I'm really excited about Alexa+ and what it can do. So it will be nice to get early access and get it free since we are Prime members. This unit is very useful. And if you're use to some echo corks it's well worth it. Alexa+ should address some of the corks. I recommend this unit to everyone!!

Very great quality no issues with it at all. I've had it for years and works really great. It did come in looking absolutely new.

I have an Echo Show 5 which is 5 inches. I use it primarily for security cameras. I wanted a bigger screen so I purchased the Echo 10 which is 10.1 inches. The Echo Show 10 is horrible for security cameras. Evidently in December 2021 they added a feature to this device that does a picture in picture. This feature shows a 2 inch screen view of the security cameras automatically if the Echo Show is occupied by another activity. So if it is showing news, ads, weather, etc. it will do a PIP view of your security cam. Then once it goes to the PIP.the camera will not respond to Alexa commands. For example if the command to Alexa is show driveway camera while the echo show is showing a new feed, it will go to PIP a 2 inch view. Then if I give the command to hide the driveway camera, it will not respond. Then about two minutes later the Echo Show will announce that the camera is not responding. The PIP feature maybe needed for some but not by others. So why don't they have a way to disable the PIP. Currently there is no way to disable the PIP. I have seen various of complaints about it. Who knows why they have not fixed this. For me all the money I spent for a 10 inch view only to get a 2 inch view is a FAIL!!!!! So I will be returning this piece of $h1t and going back to the Echo Show 5 which does not have these problems. BTW it is my understanding that the Echo Show 8 has the same problem. Maybe I will try the Nest 10.
