I took this tool out to a beast of a camera job i wasnt looking forward to, along with my $800 viewfinder tool, as well. While my overpriced, “do it all” viewfinder tool said 1100’ of wiring was ok, this tool caught the true story! This tool was precise on distance, and even easily caught where my break was in an underground run of Cat5e, saving me at least 3hrs of needless wire pulling. It also showed a SPLIT PAIR error, on a separate wire, once again saving me even more time. This tool paid itself off on that one job💯. This is a great tool to have in your arsenal, if network troubleshooting is what you do! Go get you one!

Worth every penny great tool

Llego dentro del tiempo esperado, se ve como en la foto. No me gustó que el medidor de cables es errado, patch cord de 2m los mide como 30m, muy fuera de rango. Por todo lo demás la experiencia es satisfactoria

I use mine for work and I like the features and reliability.

I opened the box and tried to charge battery like I always do for newly purchased tools. It showed that charge is complete after 15 minutes. Tried to use the device, but 10 minutes later it turned itself off showing that battery is empty. It tried to charge it again. When it showed that charging is complete after 30 minutes, device cannot be powered on reporting empty battery. I am returning this unit for full refund.

I couldn't use the tracing function, it just beeps randomly and won’t stop even if it’s too far away from anything. I used the tester for the other functions until I got a proper tester from a different supplier. The seller won’t even help, and asked to send a video to their email address which is frustrating and I don’t feel comfortable with.

I bought this because it said it supported POE measurement. Open the package and it doesn't support more than 20v POE otherwise it'll damage the unit according to the insert. 1 star for manufacturer providing incomplete specifications and limited functionality for me now.

It turned on, and that was it. The coax tester didn't work, nor did the rj11 or rj45 testers. Total price of junk. There's a reason it's so cheap.

After a few minutes it turned off and won’t turn back on. Tried charging it but still the same, won’t turn back on.

Works well overall, but the carry case is really flimsy and cheap. And the unit does not have a basic auto shut off feature. So if you leave it on by accident, or it gets accidentally turned on in your tool box, which happened to me twice already, it drains the battery to nothing. And it's rechargeable only, so can't put new batteries in and when on site and need it now, you have no way to get it going.
