Great dvd player. Got it initially just so I could watch wicked with my niece's. My previous dvd player was scart and my tv HDMI so decided to treat myself to a new one. It responds well, plays the dvds absolutely fine. Easy to plug in and set up. I recently had an issue with it but as it was still under guarantee, I was able to get the issue fixed, no problem. I'm actually that happy with this dvd player that when I get around to upgrading bedrooms etc, I'd happily buy this again if need be. I've not used the USB function so can't comment on that aspect

I love this DVD player due to amazing price, value, quality and it's so easy to assemble. It takes up little space and most DVDs will play on here. Swift delivery from Amazon and remember to read the instructions as they explain how to look after your device. For example, make sure to switch off the power when DVD player is not in use. So unplug it to make sure. This applies to many electrical items to prevent overheating. I highly recommend this product so I give 5 Gold Stars in all categories. Thank you thank you thank you

Neat little player. Easy to set up. Remote a bit iffy but quite satisfied overall. Good picture quality.

Very easy setup....plugged in HDMI turned it on and away I went...DVD displayed. Very very good price and nice and compact. One thing I really like is there's no bright flashing lights (there are obviously leds to show it running) and watching a movie in the dark there wasn't any distractions. I am genuinely happy I chose this product. Dispatched and delivered on time too.

I am delighted with this DVD player, to replace one I have had for decades which was, quite simply, worn out. I was experiencing a lot of intermittent buzzing when playing many of my DVDs. I was uncertain whether this was caused by a problem with my player or the fact that some of the DVDs themselves were some years old. Only way to find out was to buy a new player. Well, this new one is excellent. It is small, took about 2 minutes to set up and connect to the TV via an HDMI cable, put the batteries in the remote, and get it going. There is a set of RGB cables as well if all your HDMI sockets are already in use. No SCART though. This type of connection is now evidently obsolete. So 5 stars. Small, easy to operate, excellent picture even on a 1950s movie, and no noise interference. Excellent value and swift delivery.

Not at all impressed with this DVD player. It would not play DVDs properly and would keep stopping. Tried it with various DVDs to make sure it was not a dodgy one I was using all with the same result. The remote was very light and felt very “cheap” when held. It really is a case of you get what you pay for. It was returned and I bought a Sony, which is perfect and feels much better made all round. I would say that I will give Amazon 5 stars for their return service, which went without a hitch and was easy to do.

With the propensity of downloaded media suddenly being made unavailable despite you buying it for what you thought was forever, Wifey and I have decided to restart purchasing physical items that can be watched whenever it is wished. The storage of such items is a trade off we are willing to take versus 0 and 1s. The player itself is a compact unit that squeezes nicely between other televisual entertainment items and is not unpleasant to the eye. It comes with all the necessary connections one would require to achieve a pleasant viewing experience. The only thing it does not do is open the DVD case and place the DVD in the player. I would consider that a first world problem that should be addressed at the earliest opportunity. The remote fits nicely in the hand and has just the right amount of things to press that will control the player to one’s satisfaction. Almost silent in use with excellent picture and audio quality make this a sagacious purchase.
