Be careful how you order I tried to change my damaged original fob and was incorrect...twice!!

I had to return this product with a request for refund. My 2007 W211 Merc Key has the battery terminals at the end of the key (see photo). The product sold to me had the battery terminals in non-compatible locations and it also only had ONE battery holder. In addition to this - the spring for the metal key came dislodged on opening the plastic case. Unusable product - by Disappointed customer

Looks good My key had many scratches lately, well not anymore. It also have the logo. I mention this as I wasn’t sure it was going to be there and I was hesitant ordering it. Looks exactly like the original key

Not compatible with 2006 W203, as the electrical connections are completely different, and made such a mess of the old key that was being replaced it has now cost £220 to rectify with a professional Mercedes Auto-locksmith

Useless as replacement. The original core items don`t fit at all! Yes, the original board fits, but the battery pack nor the shell replacement battery connectors fit at all to it! Goes in the trash. Should have looked more carefully on the last picture.

Das Schlüsselgehäuse ist vom originalen MB - Produkt nicht wirklich zu unterscheiden, außer dass Made in China drauf steht. Obere Abdeckung und Seitenteile sind aus Metall, MB-Stern glänzt in Chrom. Leider ist mir beim Demontieren der oberen Abdeckung des neuen Gehäuses der kleine Schieber der Bartschlüsselarretierung abgebrochen. Die Demontage dieser Abdeckung ist nicht so einfach möglich wie im Video gezeigt. Die Arretierung konnte ich aber vom original Schlüssel nehmen, da absolut baugleich. Das auseinander bauen des original Schlüssels war auch nicht ganz problemlos, da dieser wohl werksseitig verklebt ist. Ich habe alles auseinander bekommen, allerdings ist er dabei soweit zerbrochen, dass er nicht mehr zu gebrauchen wäre. Die Platine ist im Original an zwei Punkten "eingeschweißt", diese Schmorpunkte muss man vorsichtig mit dem Cutter abschneiden, die Platine vorsichtig herausheben. Der Zusammenbau hat dann vollkommen problemlos geklappt, der Schlüssel funktioniert hervorragend, einzig die Druckpunkte beim Aufsperren sind etwas anders, kann aber auch Einbildung sein. Nach einer viertel Stunde der Bastelei mit ein paar Schweißtropfen auf der Stirn bin ich mit dem Ergebnis voll zufrieden. Wer ein wenig handwerkliches Geschick mitbringt und sich des Risikos bewußt ist, seinen Schlüssel eventuell in Elektroschrott zu verwandeln wenn was schiefgeht, der ist mit diesem Produkt gut bedient. Ich würde es wieder machen.
