The perfume was subtle, not too strong, which is a plus for me. Personally, strong scents annoy me. After using it on a regular day I'd come home and still smell a faint scent.

As a perfume enthusiast, I found this really disappointing. The alcohol hits you immediately, overpowering any actual fragrance. It takes a good 5–10 minutes for the scent to settle, and by then it’s weak and forgettable. At $30–$40, I expected more depth and quality — instead, it just smells cheap and harsh. The problem is, if the perfume is made with a low concentration of oils (say, more like an eau de toilette than an eau de parfum), you’re basically getting a few drops of fragrance in a pool of alcohol. Which is why you spend the first 5–10 minutes thinking, “Wow, did I just spritz on vodka?” before the real notes finally peek through. By then, the moment’s kinda ruined. If you’re investing your money, honestly, I’d tell you to skip anything that can’t hold its own past the alcohol phase. A good fragrance should bloom on contact, not make you wait for the alcohol burn-off to finish. For that price, I’d look into oil-based perfumes or attars instead—no alcohol harshness, just straight concentrated fragrance that stays rich from start to finish.

Now that I know Amazon carries this product I know it will be easier to buy. It has a soft scent, gentle aroma. Once you buy you are hooked

This is not the original Body Shop Musk Oil scent. It is a entire another scent all together. I kind of like it, but as I said this is not it. They were heavy handed on the alcohol too.

I love this fragrance. I’ve worn it, on and off, for over 20 years, I think. I don’t believe in a “signature scent” - what I wear depends on the season and my mood. This fragrance is flexible - I’ve worn and liked it during all four seasons, though more often in fall and winter. It is warm and fresh at the same time, and is long-lasting and subtle. I have received many compliments over the years. I will purchase again, and I would recommend if you like a musky fragrance that is not too sweet and/or overpowering.

It's not the scent we knew. It changed badly. Longevity No. It's disappointing. They didn't even have a mini box. They sent me a used one.

White musk is my absolute favorite scent. It smells of soap and fresh clean Earth. I’ve gotten so many compliments over the years about the smell of the musk but never so many as with this particular brand. It lingers behind you in a soft cloud for others to enjoy. It makes me want to buy a lifetimes worth just in case it’s ever discontinued! I use the white musk oil with it and it lasts all day.

Have been using this perfume for the last 20 years and every time I smell it I fall in love over and over again with the fragrance.
