Olympus M10 Mark IV Silver Body

if you've research which camera to buy and already picked this one and is just debating whether to get it or not, I have no regrets after I use it. It's very nice to use as a first time photography beginner moving on from phone.

After reading a lot of reviews for this camera I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I enjoy photo walks and while my iPhone captures great images, I wanted a camera that would provide more versatility than an iPhone and less “bulk” compared to my Nikon DSLR and this camera fits the bill perfectly!Lots of shooting options available for pretty much any situation you would find yourself in and the image quality is great. This camera is ranked one of the best for travel photography and it’s small format makes it very easy to pack or, have it at the ready using a wrist strap. It’s very lightweight so walking for extended periods of time won’t cause you any problems.

For the sale price it's a good value. Compact, lightweight, and seems well made. Takes great photos with out much fuss. I upgraded the included lens for an OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm f/4 PRO Lens (nearly the price of the camera + kit lens) and found the two work well together. Despite reviews suggesting the kit lens is really good (and for casual use that may be fine), there is an obvious difference in sharpness of photos taken with the pro lens, but at the expense of adding weight to what you are holding. Get a screen protector for the rear monitor, you'll be making frequent contact with it (impossible to avoid + it's a touch screen).

I own an OMD EM10 M2 for the past 3+ years, and it is a good companion for street, and hobby photography. I was waiting for 20MP EM10 models, and finally it arrived. There was a brief offer from Amazon on this camera body - black for $459, i immediately clicked it, i like silver, but its ok. The truepicVIII processor is amazing, 4k video, low light focus is much better, image stabilization is better, and once you focus, fhe focus stays even if you move the camera. USB charging is great, no need for the bulky charger. There is noteable difference in the picture quality, color, and contrast. Again there are many pre set filters available. All the features in palm size compact, you won't regret.If you want a point and shoot like small camera, and convert that into a professional camera in a blink of an eye, then this is the one. I tried this with my 25mm, 45mm prime leases, and the pictures are amazing. It amplifies my street photography, and portraits. This is a pure delight hobbyists camera, under the budget.Compromises: Plasticiky compared to M2, look wise still my M2 silver is better. Need careful handling, i don't think it will survive a drop on the floor. Menus are boring/monochrome, Video ok for starters. Dont know what is the future of OMD series, as Olympus is changing hands, but this camera will go for me another few years.

Soy solamente un entusiasta de la fotografía. Pero su manejo me ha permitido aprender aspectos de la fotografía que con la cámara Canon que antes usaba no comprendía. La he usado con lentes analógicos y adaptador de montura PK a micro 3/4 y me ha sorprendido gratamente.
