Superior Threads Tenara TR-92 White Sewing Thread by Gore

Tenara is a fantastic thread to use as long as you have a rotary type sewing machine. Oscillating type sewing machines have trouble and tend to skip stitches in my experience-even with lots of tweaking to machine.

UV proof thread! Imagine never having to resew outdoor cloth agian becuase the stitching failed. This is the solution!!!GREAT product. Can not say enough about it. Only used it just over a year so far, but no problems with is in the hot southern California sun, day after day. It is a lifetime thread.The only thing I would say however is the TR-92 really is too thick for a regular sewing machine. Next time I would buy the thinner version.

This was purchased for constructing a work boat awning for the summer sun. The material was Stamoid Light & is a solid stable product for Marine use. Using Tenara with the Stamoid guarantees the best results for a long lasting awning.

We use TANARA thread exclusively on our all Sunbrella work. In Hawaii the sun will destroy other dacron threads in a few years. With TENARA we can sew it and forget it...
