Good air locks and great customer service!
The air locks with this type of lid vent around the top of the air lock and out the bottom of the red cap. I have seen other reviews for similar ones where people were complaining about the caps not having holes in them. These do not need the holes in the top because they vent differently than the ones with clear caps. 2 of mine had very small holes in the bottom of the water reservoirs and would not hold water. But after a quick chat with the seller I had a replacement in a few days. I would recommend these air locks and the seller had great and quick customer support. The only thing I have noticed is the description and photos say to drill a 3/8" hole for the black rubber grommets. This is wrong, the inside diameter of the grommets is 3/8 for the air lock to slide in. You need to drill a 12mm hole in whatever lid you are using to fit the grommet properly.

Good Product
Durable and works as intended. Harder to clean than a 2 or 3 piece airlock, but more fun to watch.
