Hario "Simply Hario" V60 Glass Pour Over Coffee Set, Size 02

She is so beautiful! I absolutely love this pour over set, and it's everything I wanted. Love that it comes with filters, and they are great quality and make my coffee taste great. Maintenance is also very easy–I just rinse the top half, throw out the filter, and hand wash the bottom half. It definitely makes a lot more coffee than I expected. Only downside is the glass fogs up so I can't 100% see my coffee while it's brewing! But that's alright. The glass on the bottom half seems a bit thin, so I will try my best to be careful with it.

I've purchased several Hario products over the years and I really just couldn't be happier with them. They're durable and high quality. As you replace your plastic products with glass, consider Hario. I would just note that Hario now manufactures some of its products in China now, as opposed to Japan, and I couldn't vouch for those because so far everything I have was made in Japan. But I love this little pot. :-)

Switched to a glass pour over instead of plastic to reduce microplastics. This works well and is super easy to clean.

I put the carafe in my zojirushi 5 cup to have a plastic free automatic pour over!

I love this design, it works pretty well and can also work with Harios V60 rubber base that comes with the staneless steel v60

If you are trying to get away from plastic coffee pods, this is for you!! Super easy to use and clean. Coffee tastes delicious and fresh everytime.

The glass V60 dripper and cup is of good quality and easy to clean. However the plastic base that the V60 dripper attaches to sit on top of the cup is of cheap quality and broke over time—despite being careful with the tabs that hold the V60 dripper. While the hot water pour over does not come into contact with the plastic, the narrow annulus of the V60 dripper does get very hot and the heat transfers to the plastic. The heat had noticeable made the plastic more pliable and I suspect cleaning too quickly in lower temperature water over time had fatigued the plastic material. Recently one tab has simply came off just under the rinse of the water. As a result the V60 will no longer sit securely on the base. In trying to find a replacement, I was notified by Hario that there is no available replacement. This renders then the entire kit having a very short life time (in my case less than two years with good care). I am disappointed that this is the case and a better quality plastic was used. The only remedy is to have to buy another dripper kit, which is ridiculous. Had I know this, I would have opted for an entirely ceramic dripper and base to use with a cup instead. My advice is to not purchase this kit but instead buy a ceramic dripper with the base that comes as one solid unit. I hope Hario takes note of this issue, which reading other comments reveals is by no means an isolated incident. And it seems Hario has been aware of this issue, as on the home page for the kit there is warning to be extra careful with the tabs. Again, the tabs and inner annulus of the bas get very hot from the heat transfer from the V60. Better, thicker heat-resistant material needs to be employed. Had this plastic base not been an issue my rating would have been 5 stars. But at is stand the cheap quality of this easily breakable base with no replacement renders the kid as a whole useless. In short, this is a serious limiting factor that makes the otherwise good V60 dripper and cup useless.

Arrived fast and exactly what I wanted

Love the clean, simple design of this pour-over coffee maker. The glass holder feels way safer than the plastic one I had before, which smelled like it was melting. Made in Japan—great quality and peace of mind!

Best equipment to brew coffee. The taste blooms like a flower. I can feel every notes and flavours of the coffee with this brewer. I tried the same beans with french press and v60, and I must say the taste is like heaven and hell. It is easy to use, but hard to master ngl, and the size is perfect. Functional as well.
