I don't have a term for it, but I can hear it and feel it. The music from a Cassette is more alive and vibrant. A 5-pack of 90 minutes cassettes hold's a large amount of music. These tapes aren't as good as Maxell XLII cassettes - in sound quality or construction. Still these are type II cassette, and work far better that any type I cassette. Price wise these tapes are more affordable. 4 Stars. Review: Bring back the music. - I am using them to re-record some old audio tapes. Works up to expectations. Got mine before they become extinct.

Bring back the music.
I am using them to re-record some old audio tapes. Works up to expectations. Got mine before they become extinct.
