What is the difference between manual mode and automatic mode?

To put it simply, it’s based on what kind of transmission you have. Either an automatic or a manual transmission. If you have a vehicle with paddle shifters, you would still only use automatic mode. The controller plugs into your peddle, which is feeding information back to your car’s computer. Long story short, the controller knows what mode the car needs to be in (automatic or manual) and from here you only have to decide if you want to put it in comfort, sport, or economy mode. It’s very simple.
