I'm so glad these are no longer difficult to find for a reasonable price. I've used this brand on my D1Spa and it works as advertised.

I used this in my hot tub. It worked perfectly. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged. It was cheaper than our local spa store. Will definitely recommend!

We have used this filter for several years and it works well.

Have used two of these and major issues with both. The first one fell apart and the beads spilled all over inside the filter area. I tried to remove it from the filter while the filter was in the tub and as I said it came apart and dumped the beads everywhere. I continued to find the beads in the tub for several days. Lesson learned only remove it from the filter outside of the tub. The second time was even worse. I noticed some black sentiment on the bottom of the tub. I decided to check the filter and see if it also had the black sentiment in it. When I pulled the filter with the sanitizer cartridge still attached, a big cloud of black released from the cartridge. Whatever chemicals are in the balls obviously dissolved more rapidly than they should have and created the black substance/sediment that was in the bottom and came out of the cartridge when I tried to remove it from the tub. Not much else I can say, the product is more hassle than it is worth.

The instructions don't actually tell you where you install the thing. I looked online, but I couldn't find anything that directly said how to install it. Does it go below the filter? Does it go on the top of the filter under the plastic strainer basket? Does it go in the strainer basket? Would be nice if they had explicate instruction on where to install it. I ended up placing it under the filter basket on top of the fliter, but it just kind of sit there and moves around a bit. Not sure how much water is actually being pulled through the vents and across the activated charcoal because it seems like most the water just jgets pulled down the center into the filter directly.

I ordered a filter for my hot tub the night before last and it arrived in less than two days. Great price and amazing service!! I'd rather sit in my hot tub and order parts then drive all over town looking for parts!!
