Sorry， this USB C to HDMI cable with charging port CAN NOT work with Samsung Galaxy S7. It works for the follow Sasmung Model: Galaxy S20 / S20+ / S20 Ultra / S10e / S10 / S10+ / Note 20 / Note 20 Ultra / Note 10+ / Note 10 / Note 9 / Note 8 / S8 / S8+ / S9 / S9+ / A90 5G / Fold / Z Fold 2 / W21 (for Chinese market)， Galaxy TabPro S / S4 / S5e / S6 (excluding Lite model) / S7 / S7+

Does it quick change the phone or slow charge? I'm using a note 10 but another brand mhl cable won't keep the phone charged

This USB C to HDMI with charging port CAN NOT support Quick Charge. It supports 5V/1A (5W Max) . It can keep phone charged when your watch movies.

Can you give me step by step instructions to get it to work?

1. Plug the USB port to Power adapter or Powerbank (5V/1A); 2. Plug the HDMI port to your TV or monitor, set the TV to the input HDMI display; 3. Plug the USB C port to your smartphone; 4. You need to cancel the Samsung Dex Mod for Samsung Phones to get the mirro mod. Just Plug and Play, make sure your device is in the compatibility List. Or it will not work.

Does it work with galaxy s20 FE

I purchased this adapter so we could see programs from our cell phones to our big screen TV. BUT I could not get it to work. Amazon did take it back. Thank you Amazon. I'm still looking for one that works
