What seems to be the issue with wireless charging?

The case is too thick, so wireless charging doesn't work or sometimes it only work for a few seconds. Have to remove the spigen case if you want reliable wireless charging on the XM4

Does this case have a locking mechanism?

It does not lock. It’s essentially a glove for the OEM case.

How hard is it to remove the case with the preinstalled adhesive used?

As a reference from another user: Get a little pipette with some isopropyl alcohol. Make a little opening and pour some droplets, it'll dissolve the adhesive and not damage the charging case
