Michael Michael Kors Women's Meg Espadrille

I love these, they're the most comfortable shoes I own, and hold up extraordinarily well.

I found a terrific deal on these adorable espadrilles. I bought them in Navy. I loved them so much that I decided to wear them out the same night for a casual dinner. Sadly, they never made it there. The leather trim around the opening of the shoe completely ripped away from the fabric leaving a 3-inch tear in the fabric itself, which cannot be repaired. I had to finish the evening with a massive and embarrassing tear in my shoe. To say that I was shocked to have this happen to such a reputable, name-brand shoe is an understatement. The was the first time I have ever purchased anything from MK. Many of my colleagues and friends are big fans of the brand. Surely they woundn't continue to purchase items with such poor standars. I concluded these must have been defective - perhaps dry rotted. So, I contacted MK's customer service and hoped that they would be responsive and back their product. I thought they are nice shoes - great for summer. Be aware, however -- if you have any pressure on the shoe - either too tight or short, don't expect that the shoe will stretch or be "broken in." Clearly, it won't! I didn't buy these via Amazon, but wanted to share my experience.UPDATE (7/7/13): As previously stated, I contacted customer service at Michael Kors to let them know that this had happened to these shoes. I received a response from their "customer service" department, which I believe, based on the articulation, is taking on high school interns for summer. Their brief 4 sentence response to me included these points: 1)Thanks for your email. 2)Sorry that happened. 3) We don't guarentee our products. 4) We can't do anything for you. Needless to say, this was my first and very last MK purchase.

These are so very comfortable and awesome looking! I get compliments everywhere I go wearing them! I will probably get more colors!

Very disappointed!! On first day of wearing them they ripped. I have bought a lot of items from Michael Kors and have never experienced this before.

Finally, I have found a shoe that I can wear. I have "ballet feet", which means high arches and insteps. Almost every shoe hurts my feet. But, these are perfect, they are cut low enough that they do not rub. I love them. They, of course, are good quality and well made. My problem, now, is I want more in other colors. So, Yes, I highly recommend them and this seller for a very good price.

My daughter loved the shoes. They are well made and fit to size. I am thinking of buying another pair.

Reordered shoes in next smaller size. Love the looks of the shoe.
