I love this brand of boiled peanuts I've been eating these for years and they're always absolutely delicious. I will continue to buy this brand. Their best when eaten warm/hot.

Great peanuts just didnt like getting dented cans. I will be ordering more and hoping for no dented cans.

I ordered these because most places outside of the South have no idea what boiled peanuts are. I loved boiled peanuts when I was a kid. An ice cold Coke or Pepsi and a brown bag full of hot boiled peanuts was about as close to deliciousness as a kid could get. It was the perfect balance of salty and sweet. These are not as great as a fresh batch, but two minutes in a microwave was all I needed to transport me from my home in CA to my childhood in SC. I can definitely recommend this product to folks who can’t get a steaming fresh batch from a backwater country store and bait shop or their Grandma’s kitchen. I ordered both the regular and the spicy and neither were a disappointment.

Sometimes you just crave salty, gooey nuts in your mouth.... but that same flavor over and over can get boring when its all you put in your mouth. The solution is finding another flavor of nuts! That's right, you can get your nuts in different flavors! This is such a great deal because not only do you have TWO flavors of nuts, but its A LOT of nuts in one package! So now there is more opportunity to have nuts with that salty sauce nuts are known for, but without making you want to gag from the same old nuts! You can pop them in your mouth fresh out of the can, or do a little prep work for a warm treat! You will be licking your lips when you're all done, wanting to savor every drop. My husband hates sharing his nuts, but he did let the dog taste them once. That didn't go well since it ended with a mess on the floor. Thankfully my husband doesn't do that anymore, and he just enjoys them by himself. I personally have no desire to eats his nuts as I always break out in a rash. Still, my husband raves about his nuts and just wont shut up about the new flavor of them. I'm sure my husband will love his nuts in the can until the day he dies! One last bit of advice, don't let your dogs eat your nuts. Apparently it's not something they are supposed to put in their mouths.

At least half the weight is water. A better and cheaper way is to buy shelled raw and unsalted peanuts, then bring to a boil and simmer in a crockpot for 8-12 hours, replenishing water as needed. Ratio is six cups of water to two pounds of nuts. Salt to taste - great options are Creole seasoning, garlic, onion, Asian spices, etc.
