Be aware that these bows draw about ~10lbs UNDER their specified draw weight. The description says the specified draw weight is measured at 28" (the standard in archery) but the two 35# in oak that I ordered pull 24# and 25# @28" as measured on a calibrated bow scale. They are both right around 35# at max draw of 32". Honestly though, the full 35# would have been a lot more painful while getting used to thumb draw. Other than that I love the bow! The 1st one has been going strong for 6 months of daily shooting

Oh what can I say about this fantastic bow. At the time of this writing there are two asiatic style bows that I really I like that are being offered on amazon, and this is one of the two both being offered by AF Archery. It is a superb bow, and I would class it as being worth double the price. First off, it is incredibly light. It's like 4/5ths of a pound. It is very fast and snappy. It is comfortable to hold in the hand, and it draws smoothly through the entire draw range, really only beginning to show resistance as you approach draw length. Be careful, it draws so easily that it is easy to over-draw the bow if you are able. The other bow I like is also offered by AF Archery is the 48" Turkish bow. You can see my review over on that bow as well. I love both of these bows, and I am getting ready to by both again at higher draw weights more appropriate for hunting.

The bow is nice, as most AF Archery products are. But Amazon did not deliver on time, they missed there delivery date when ordered it said arriving on Saturday, but I did not receive the order until Monday evening at 7.10pm, very disappointing, did not get to use it at all on the Holiday Weekend. Missed the event it was purchased for. Canceled my Amazon account and will not be renewing . As it made not difference in price, and would have been delivered on or before it was as a non member. Great bow, horrible service from Amazon

This little bow weighs 12.6 ounces ready to shoot. It's gorgeous and symmetrical enough to shoot very well. Do not try to shoot it with plastic fletching, since they will hit the riser and deflect the tail end of the arrows outward. But with real feather fletching, arrows went straight, and it became a pleasure to practice instinctive archery. String it with a bow stringer, since it is an extreme recurve with string rests. I have shot bows of all kinds for about 70 years ( I am 82) and this one is a refreshing break from all the gadgetry on my compound bows. I hope that you will enjoy it.

I ordered a 35# bow but received a 30#. As far as the quality of the bow it seems pretty nice. Has a good finish.

I have been wanting to try an Asiatic style bow for some time. Was pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish on this bow. The black glass on the bamboo makes for a very attractive bow. Have not shot it yet but did string it and draws nicely.

So far so good , Beautifuly made, It’s a great bow for the price, this is my first tarta bow, shoots better then me for sure.
