Folding Cane Walking Stick LED Flashlights Dependable Adjustable Height Lightweight Non Slip for Men Women

I am not crazy about this cane..... but so far, it does what it is supposed to do, although it makes a noise when the bottom of it hits the ground. A plus: It folds up & helps you when you are mobility-challenged. I purchased two of them. I previously had a different "make & model" & it seemed to be much sturdier than this one. (The other one was also a beautiful purple color too & this one comes only in black.. I know that's picky but us old farts are pretty particular. & demanding of our walking assist items.) A plus is that it comes with 4 replacement feet in case you wear out the ones already on it. NOT a plus: the little instruction "booklet" that came with the cane stated that the four batteries required to power the light were included with the cane. Not so. If you want light for the cane, you will have find somewhere to buy that particular battery & most places do not carry the LR44 button type battery (It needs four of those little batteries to power the light.). I honestly have had no need for the light, so that is not a big deal for me, but if I were to want/need lighting with the cane, it would be a pain in the butt to hunt down the little button batteries for it.. So...I cannot comment on the quality of the cane's light. Since I don't use the light, it is merely somewhat in the way when using the cane. This cane,so far, does do the job, but I haven't used it in any area where I might take a spill.

UPDATE:I Gave This Product Another Star Solely Because Of The Great Customer Service. I Was Contacted And Sent Another Cane Being The First Was Deemed Defective. I've Used It Daily Since It's Delivery To Be Able To Make a Better Judgment Than Before And Have Found It To Be a Bit Better, But Still Slightly Unpredictable. The 2nd Cane Does Not Fall All Over As Much As The 1st Did, But It Doesn't Always Stand On Its Own Either. I Learned To Rock The Handle Back And Forth Slightly Before Letting It Go To Make Sure It Balances Correctly And Not Have It Immediately Fall Over. I Would Recommend The Company Make The Base a Bit Wider/Heavier For More Stability And Make The Bottom Pole Heavier So That It Stands 100% Alone All The Time. Again, The Best Thing On This Cane Is Having The Light To Illuminate Your Way Around The House Or Anywhere In The Dark. It's Very Bright And Can Be Adjusted To Shine On The Floor In Front Of You, a Few Steps Further Away From You Or Straight Ahead Where You Are Trying To Get To. It Has Been a Great Help Having That Feature.Bottom Line Is That This Company Does Have Great Customer Service, But This Product Needs To Be More Stable To Securely Stand On Its Own. I Don't Use This Cane Outside My Home Anymore Because I Just Can't Depend On It & My Overall Balance Depends On a GOOD Sturdy Cane. I Thank The Company For Trying To Work With Me But This Still Isn't Working Out For Me As I Expected It To. When Choosing To Purchase This Product, I Envisioned Being Able To Let Go Of The Cane Wherever, Whenever And Have It Stay Put Where I Would Then Just Place My Hand On It And Keep Going About My Day. Not Spend Time Trying To Make It Do What It Supposed To Do, Which Is, Stand On It's Own.I've Had This Cane For ONE Day, And I'm Completely Disappointed With It. It's Fairly Flimsy And It Had Repeatedly Fell Over On Its Own As I Use My Hands To Do Other Life Skills Like Reaching, Greeting Someone, Or Washing Dishes. How EMBARRASSING It Is To Have To Depend On Someone To Reach It For You As It Lays On The Floor! The Whole Purpose Of My Buying This Is To Have My Hands Free While I Do Things And Not Have To Either Juggle My Cane Or Have To Lean It Somewhere. The ONLY Thing I Like Is Having a Little "Nightlight" To Guide My Way Around In Low Lit Areas Or In The Dark, But This Product Does Not Stand Up To Any Standards Other Than FLIMSY/USELESS! I Do NOT Recommend This Product, Especially If You, Like Me, Cannot Bend Without Pain To Be Picking It Up Off The Floor.

First, you have to understand a folding cane is going to work and feel different from a solid one piece cane. I use this cane when I'm out of the house because it's light and easy to fold. I use a solid cane at home, which has a wider base, but takes up more space. Neither will stand well on carpet or uneven surfaces, but this cane will work on flat surfaces, like in stores, where I personally use it. Another thing, it's hard to find a cane that works properly for my height. I'm 6'4", and most adjustable canes barely work for someone six foot. This one is the perfect height for me. If your taller, this won't work. The swivel base works well, and the light is a neat touch. The cane holds my weight much better than I thought it would--I'm 245lbs and I lean on it pretty hard when my back and abdomen start to ache. I read the other review and thought it was an unfair portrayal of this product. I don't understand how people assume things about a product that is not listed or not common sense. If it feels flimsy, it's because it's hollow. That's what allows it to be foldable. That also makes it light and easy to hold, which is good. This product is what it says it is and works well. It does what it is supposed to do, which is be a sturdy, adjustable, folding cane, with swivel base, and LED light on handle. If you want it to cook you breakfast, look elsewhere. If you need a light cane that you can fold, this is a great option and it was a great price.

A friend of mine had one of these canes and showed it off and I could hardly wait to get one.No joke, no exaggeration, *it has changed my life* -- I have balance issues, and little spasms, and with a conventional cane, if I have a spasm, I will push off the fixed foot, and often overbalance in the opposite direction. So mostly, I would use a rollator.With this cane, because the upright is springy and the foot is a ball joint, so it gives if I jerk a little, and so I don't overbalance against it.I have gotten more exercise and my son is stunned and pleased at how much more I am walking and how I can keep up with him at medium speed -- my pace is lengthened and my confidence is so increased, and I am so much happier. I used to run cross country, and walk all the time. This is so welcome. And I can fold it up and stick it in a section of my pack meant for a laptop, separated from the rest of the pack (so if it is wet or dirty it doesn't mess up other things).I lose the capacity of the rollator, and of course, can't sit. But I can get from one bench to another and so on so much faster, that hardly matters.

Arrived promptly. Light, stable. Regular tipped cane became unsafe and quad cane was best. Good size to be stable and not unsightly. The LED light is a pleasant bonus and discovered batteries were included when opened.
