We use these as emergency mouthguards for our club rugby team. They’re being used as a one time use mouth guard when someone forgets their mouthguard. For that purpose they are absolutely great, but I’m not sure you want to use these for a long-term teeth protection and sports.

As a kickboxer I’m here to tell you these are some of the WORST mouth guards I’ve ever ordered- although a given for the price I was misled by a lot of reviews saying they might work in a pinch. They don’t. They’re too flimsy, soft, big for an adult jaw/mouth and are NOT moldable (I tried leaving one in hot water to loosen it but the plastic is too thick). They overall do not fit to an adult mouth adequately to be used. This is extremely unsafe to use in martial arts (or probably any other sport where it’s needed) as a decent mouth guard should at least be moldable and be fit to your upper teeth. I advise anyone reading this to try and look elsewhere for a better product.

I keep these for kids who forget their mouth guards for matches and practice. They are great in a pinch but not an item that I would want a kid using all the time. The price and quantity allow me to keep a stash in my medkit.

I got these as back ups for my kids. They use them for taekwondo. My kids love the comfort and variety of colors. They prefer these to their more expensive ones. They’ve gotten kicked in the face and mouthguard protected their teeth well.

Based on my high school team’s experience, these mouthguards do NOT mold in hot water, but unlike other similar products, they are still relatively comfortable even when not molded. Keep in mind that a key factor in making a mouthguard most effective is having a custom fit, particularly so it will stay in place upon impact. As noted by other reviewers, they’re a good option to keep on hand as backups for when someone forgets a mouthguard. I’ll likely purchase more for that purpose and will also be looking for another inexpensive, moldable mouthguard for everyday use. The mouthguards in my order came individually wrapped.

I bought these last year to see if they would work for my son’s basketball team. It turns out they were perfect, the guys kept forgetting and losing theirs and having extras would always come in handy. These are Great because you can get colorful ones to separate who had what color.

For teeth grinding at night these are excellent! Very soft, no need to boil/mold to teeth. Top or bottom. You can easily trim if needed with sharp scissors. It's protecting my teeth, allows for free breathing and that's all I wanted. I've tried several others over the years and would always go with a sports version which were good vs a pricier dental version of the same thing. My dentist verified the grinding, and can offer a fitted night guard for a mere $600. No thanks! Love the colors!
