This is my second set of this hose. Compared to the first 50-foot set I purchased back in 2014, the quality and functionality remain just as good. I’m able to connect them together easily, and I typically use the 25-foot length for washing my car, which works perfectly. It is a bit on the pricey side, but compared to cheaper alternatives, you truly get what you pay for. The durability and performance make it worth the investment.

The SIMPSON 41028 3/8” hose feels like it is of very high quality right from the very first use. It is strong, handles high pressure well, and does not lose performance even when working over long distances. It is ideal for heavy-duty cleaning tasks, such as cleaning patios, vehicles, or equipment. It is a bit heavy, but it is evident that it is built to last. Highly recommended if you are looking for something professional and durable.

Great medium-duty 4500psi 50 footer. Comes with 3/8 inch QC couplings, male on one end and female on the other. Includes the o-ring, and it is installed on the female coupling. Also has bend guards on each end, as shown in the picture. Note, this is for higher-pressure machines. This will not work out the box for mid- and lower-pressure machines, such as most every electric washer and most every 2500-3400psi gas washer. It is not the products fault if you order the wrong hose/connectors. You should order this if your setup uses 3/8 inch QC couplings, such as you would find in most every machine above 3500 or so psi. Check your machines specs first before ordering. This will not work out the box with 1/4 inch or 5/16 inch hose setups, unless you change the connectors on this or your system. The hose itself is rated 4500psi. My machine can do 4200psi/4.0gpm. Always, always, always, lower the pressure on your machine when testing new hoses. If the hose bursts or a connector comes undone, this can be a very dangerous situation. Start low and check the entire length of the hose. Gradually increase pressure and re-check the hose. Keep raising it until you reach your desired working pressure and re-check the hose. Use it for a short while and re-check the hose. Really, you should be doing this every time you use your machine, and not just when the hose is new. Its smart and safe. The hoses themselves are high-quality, but I would not say pro quality. These hoses are too flexible for day-to-day use and abuse. These are the kind that will easily kink and ruin themselves if you are not careful. Don't get me wrong. I am not calling them cheap. They are good hoses. However, compared to other comparably-priced pro-level hoses I have had in the past, these are not the best. As long as you can keep them from kinking, they should be fine for many years. As for corrosion in the braiding. First of all, make sure to roll up your hoses in such as way as to allow the water to drain out completely. It takes practice, but you can get most of that water out. Also realize that all hoses have this "problem." Its just that you usually cannot see the braid. These are translucent, and that's why now all of a sudden you can see it. If this is really a problem for you, I would recommend you leave the pressure washing thing to the pro's. Really, this is not a problem in itself. Its normal. Bubbling hoses are bad. Rusted braid, eh, not a big deal. I was able to use two of these plus the OEM 50 footer, for a total of 150 feet with my machine no problem. Still had great pressure at the tip. If you need a long reach, just buy more 50 footers. Do not waste your time, effort and money with 100 footers. 50 footers are better in every way except price. Well, price at least in the short term. In the long run, 50 footers are cheaper. Also, 50 footers allow for easily customized setups. If you only need 50, then only use 50. Add more as needed. Also, if one bursts, its not the end of the show if you get my meaning. When a 100 footer bursts, it hurts your feelings. Also, 50 footers are easier to clean up at the end of the day. I did this as a business for many years. Trust me, stay away from the 100 footers.

This hose is high quality as many other reviewers have pointed out. The purpose of my review is to clarify about the fittings and to reinforce what others have written about the weight of the hose. The hose comes with a quick connect fitting attached at each end. However, it does not have the coupler to which the fitting attaches. Therefore, you need to purchase a male fitting for one end and a female fitting for the other. In other words, it is a replacement hose that fits into your existing system. The second point is that this hose is very heavy and somewhat stiff. This made it awkward for using with my power washer. Since the hose turned out to be more heavy-duty than I needed, I gave it to my son for his large air compressor and purchased a lighter-weight hose for my power washer.

My Simpson pressure washer came with a 25 foot hose, which while decent, isn't rally long enough for me to reach every corner of my patio or driveway. I bought this one because it was the same as the one that came with the pressure washer, just longer and it turns out that the 50 feet is just want I needed. And, if I ever need more, I can just connect the two hoses and have a 75 foot reach. It's sturdy, well made, does not leave any marks, but it is a bit stiff (not sure if there are really any quality pressure washer hoses that are super flexible). I do find that leaving it in the sun for just a few minutes helps. But, I am satisfied and would buy it again if I had the need.

I've had this 150ft hose reel for about a year now and it hasn't broke on me yet, I have probably used this on 20-30 jobs and it's held up. Great pressure washer hose, very flexible, weighs nothing, overall great product.

I wanted a longer hose than the 30 footer that came with my recently-purchased pressure washer. I opted for a 3/8 inch diameter hose to help mitigate the pressure loss you get with longer hoses, and settled on this one. I've only used it once, but it seems to be a high-quality hose that will hopefully last a long time. However, it is very stiff and inflexible, which makes using it a frustrating experience. It fights you the entire time, when switching positions, turning, etc. You basically have to unwind the length you intend to use by hand before connecting it to the gun. You can't just yank on it like your garden hose. Additionally, winding it up is a pain. It took me about 15 minutes to coil it up successfully without it trying to uncoil itself. Also, if you plan on using it on a ladder, keep in mind it's quite heavy at 20 pounds. You will need the 3/8 inch male and female M22 quick connect adapters as mentioned in other reviews, which you can pick up at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.

Have had this almost a year now. Bought it to extend the range of my heavy-duty 3300 psi pressure washer and replace the original (shorter) hose it came with. I can leave my pressure washer on the ground and with this hose, wash the entire upper deck of my house. The deck is over 40 feet long and 8 feet above grade. This is a tough, high quality hose and while it is flexible, I recommend laying it out straight (uncoiled) before connecting it to the pressure washer/wand. Once it is under pressure it will tend to hold its shape, making it difficult to uncoil. Came with the appropriate 1/4 inch connectors on both ends, as shown. Not all hoses do!

A little expensive but a great product so thats ok.

Better than expected.

I have purchased many of these for industrial use. They have lasted longer than more expensive ones I’ve bought from industrial suppliers. Gets a little stiff after a lot of use but good value for the price.
