MagEZ Case 2 for iPhone 13 Pro Max

The media could not be loaded. I have had thin plastic cases but they would always crack and not provide any real protection. This thin case allows for you to feel the quality of your phone on the sides and also provide higher corner drop protection then any other case in this thickness category.Pitaka continues to raise the bar with transitioning there priority MagEz magnets into the MagSafe compatibly so this case will work with MagSafe chargers and docks. Some people I have read are upset that this wont work with the older MagEz car mounts but we are in a transition period that Pitaka has to follow. Apple had made transitions for the future and this is Pitaka turn to move over to MagSafe as that is going to be the way of future. This case now opens the door to be compatible across all MagSafe products.Like other thin cases that are compatible with MagSafe this one has the benefit of added magnets, so instead of it just being compatible, it adds to the MagSafe magnetic pull that allows this to work with MagSafe car docks for example. Other thin cases might be compatible with MagSafe charging but not with docks as the case takes away from the magnetic pull since they have no added magnets in them.Many added color options to take this a step further and more customizable. The video I posted was for the Gold/Black option.This has camera lens protection, as case sticks out on the back for lay on the table protection for camera lens. The front of the case has no lay on the table protection but works well with screen protectors.If you are looking to not loose the feel of your phone and keep footprint to a minimum state this case is a win, with a far superior material than just plastic & added magsafe magnets. I’ve been a Pitaka supporter since it’s early kickstarter days. I’ve tried other brands, but nothing compares . I have become so confident with their iPhone cases that I look to see if a case is available before I upgrade my iPhone..Throughout my work day ( paramedic)I have dropped my phone countless times., I don’t even panic as I pick it up since using Pitaka cases because I know my phone will always remain intact and scratch free because their cases really are THAT good. Recently my phone dropped and hit a curb on an angle where the case ended up getting chipped, but of course the phone was fine! I contacted Pitaka, inquiring if there was a warranty on the case. There is,but I was 2 mos past the warranty date. As I ordered a replacement from Amazon I was contacted by Pitaka and they informed me that since I’ve been a loyal customer they would send me a new case. I received my new case a few days ago. I’ve tested the durability of their products every day I work, this was the first time their customer service needed to be tested. Thanks Pitaka. Your products and now your customer service have never let me down!

This will now be my go to case! I use pitaka for most of my devices including the iPhone 12 & while that was MagSafe compatible it didn’t have the magnetic rings built in. Now they incorporated the magnets for MagSafe & they did a great job with it. The magnets are, in my opinion, stronger than apples magnets & I don’t have an issue with the phone disconnecting to my MagSafe accessories. The case is super thin which is what I like but from past experience with Pitaka they are super durable & last quite a while. They have protected all of my devices against drops. I love this case & I highly suggest picking one up & trying it out!Update - The magnets on this case are the single strongest ones I’ve had on any MagSafe case to date. It holds stronger than the Apple cases on my Belkin MagSafe stand, MagSafe charger, & Belkin Car Vent Mount Pro. The fit on my Pro Max is perfect. This case isn’t coming off with any accidental drops. It has a slight raise around the screen so your glass won’t be physically touching the surface you set it on & the same goes for the camera protector on the back. The lip is high enough to protect the lenses but not too high to make the phone rock while it’s laying on the table.

So far thrilled with my Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 purchase.You are absolutely spending a premium on ‘style’ as opposed to protection, but for those of you who are relatively careful with your devices, I think you’ll be fine. I wanted a case that would highlight - not hide - the phones beauty. This case does exactly that!There is a lip on the case, so the phone screen/lenses don’t sit flush on surfaces. The magnets are stronger than I expected and seem to even add additional support for MagSafe accessories (such as my Apple Wallet). The case feels ‘soft’ to the touch. It’s very hard to explain, but it almost feels like a plastic fabric (I know that makes no sense, but you just have to exp it!).Compared to cases in Best Buy, mobile phone stores, etc., this case looked leaps and bounds more luxurious than everything I saw in person.Worth the buy if you have the extra coin!p.s. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with their customer service. They proactively reached out before I even received the case to offer support.

I got this because it looked tough and lightWell it is light.. can’t say it’s very tough at allSuper easy to scratchBut the worse part is the top two hooks or corners that hold it in place keep getting snagged on my hair. And dude I have super short hairIt’s so annoying and painful, I literally stopped using this caseSad cuz it’s so damn expensive and initially looks goodMagnet is great on it I do have to say

Looks good, feels good in the hand. Taking a star off because even with the included pads the fit on my phone isn’t very good, I can feel it shift on my phone constantly. With that said, good luck getting it off your phone the first time, it really holds on. After a few times taking it off it gets easier. I had a similar case on my own phone and it fit perfectly without need of pads, so I know it can be done better.
