I recently took my 2 daughters and their friend, to Paris (ages 8,11, and 11). I bought them each a copy of this book, and it was wonderful! This will have your children seeking out details in famous paintings, architectural anomalies, and give them fun facts about famous Parisians and history. It was a life saver, when waiting in long lines ;). I would definitely recommend this! -J.A. Whatilike My daughters (7 and 9 years old) were very excited with Mission Paris. I believe they enjoyed the city much more with this adventure. Easy, fun and different! We wouldn't have had such a wonderful trip without Mission Paris. I truly recommend it. -Dulce Zorilla I highly recommend this book for any parent looking for a fun way to engage their youngster in discovering the wonders of Paris...and the book turned out to be equally fun for the adults, giving us a new "take" on Paris...This book would be appealing for a wide range of ages. -R.S. in SF Review: Best way to explore Paris - This book is awesome! I enjoyed reading it just as much as my kids did! I love the layout and the way that the book assigns the kids to be secret agents, but defers to the case officers (parents) for the final say. We were in Paris for 1 week and although the weather was less than cooperative, we were able to capture our 100 points and award our 4yo and 7yo their secret agent certificates. I love the fact that you can work on this book in any order and do as little or as much as you want at each attraction. The price was awesome and worth every penny. My 7yo particularly enjoyed the challenges at the Musee D'Orsay and the Louvre and it was a great way to keep those visits focused and entertaining for the kids. My 4yo was a little young to stay engaged with every "mission", but the activities were easy enough that she could help (ex. finding a winter scene in the Musee D'Orsay). I loved that this book engaged the kids but didn't detract from any of our visits (we didn't feel like we had to go "out of our way" to find anything). The only disappointment was that they didn't include Versailles and Sainte Chappelle. I have not only recommended this book to all my of friends traveling to Paris (honestly with or without kids), but I have also already purchased the similar books for London, New York, and Washington DC. Can't wait to see what other cities they add! Review: Afun way to see Paris as a kid - Great way to have kids really look at the sights of Paris. Encourages group or single competition to do each activity. Lots of visual clues.

Great travel book for kids.
This book was great, I plan to get one for any other city we visit that they have a book for. Good level info for my 8 year old but also had some fun things for my 4 year old to do. Very flexible so we could just see what we were going to see & work it into the ‘mission’. We would bust it out at our cafe/people watching stops to see what we needed to do at the next stop. The information was fun for kids and adults. You get to set points for a few things so the mission is completely attainable no matter what you do in the city AND you can set points for adventurous things your kiddos might not otherwise do... eg I got my 4 year old to try escargot!

Worth it!
Great book to help keep kids engaged and excited to tour through Paris. Recently used it on our trip with 5-8 year olds and had a blast searching for paintings in museums or various sites through the city. Had some interesting facts/history to share about the various places (although wish it had more)

Kept a 10 year old engaged
I bought this for my 10 year old for our trip to Paris. It contained some activities that kept him interested during our museum/castle trips. It even lead us to Chateau de Vincennes which we wouldn’t have found on our own! The Louvre hunt had us going all over the place (mainly because he can’t leave anything incomplete) but it helped initiate conversations about history. The only issue is that the Notre Dame challenge is sadly impossible to complete now based on the fire in April. I also wish something would be added regarding Les Invalides. If you have elementary aged kids then I would highly recommend.

Excellent addition to a trip
Just got back from Paris. My 9 year old daughter loved using this book throughout our adventures. It was light enough to carry with us each day and had a nice mix of information to read and things to look for. There were A LOT of different sites listed. In a week we still didn't get to some of them. Would definitely buy one of these books for another trip.

A must-have for Grade-schoolers going to Paris
This was an absolutely wonderful Secret Agent Spy book that kept our kids engaged throughout our time in Paris. I bought a copy for each of our three children. This book was perfect for my 8 and 9 year-old, my 6 year old was only moderately engaged. It could be her personality, it could be her age. But what this book did do was bring to life the main tourist attractions we were dragging them to. We spent 4 hours at the Louvre, and once we were done with that Mission, my older two were immediately wanting to move on to the missions that took place just outside the Louvre. The writing is appropriate without being condescending or too simple. Highly recommend this for any grade-schooler. May be ok for middle schoolers too. Thanks Catherine Aragon!

Perfect for kids 6-10
This book was exactly what we needed on our trip with 4 kids to Paris during peak holiday time. It kept them motivated during hours of waiting in line and racing from 1 thing to the next. It even had a very doable plan for the Louvre. Our kids loved our trip because of this book!

Fun for kids
Fuimos a París y mis hijos de 6 y 8 años se lo pasaron bomba resolviendo las pruebas. Me pareció una genial idea que podrian exportar en español a mas destinos

Liked this, but wish it was Kids Go Europe
Really liked this fun motivator for sightseeing in Paris with kids, especially the color printing. Would have rated it higher but it wasn't as inspiring as the tiny Kids Go Europe series we absolutely loved in Italy (Florence and Venice). I'll still give Mission London a chance, when we go there next time.

Super fun for the kids and us!
My 5 and 7 year old LOVED this book while travelling through Paris this year. The ‘missions’ kept them going on our long days of walking round the city and kept things really fun. There are HEAPS of things to see in Paris and so many listed in this book, we barely got through half of them! I would highly recommend this book for travelling children. I will definitely be looking at getting other cities if we get the opportunity to travel again!

A fun travel book for kids
This is the first book I have read in the Scavenger Hunt Adventure series and I have found it to be excellent and of extremely high quality. It is aimed at children in the 8-11 years age range, but would equally suit older teenagers. Adults, too, could certainly use the book as a tour guide. It is well written, beautifully and colourfully presented, with an arresting cover indicative of the general theme. Inside is a clear map showing the location of Paris globally and within France. The aim of the book is to give children on holiday with their family something interesting and exciting to focus on. It presents tasks and investigations in a lively and fun way. On successful completion of each task, points are allocated, the ultimate goal being to reach a score of 100. Reaching this goal enables participants to become a Secret International Agency (SIA) special agent. Parents/trusted adults are asked to perform the role of case officers, and must accompany the children and supervise them during the tasks. SIA special agents secretly collect intelligence from around the world. The books present agents as holding a privileged position – which should certainly appeal to children’s imagination and competitiveness. The book stresses that ‘only a few have what it takes’ to join. The tasks are presented as a series of seventeen missions, all clearly listed on a Contents page which allows agents and case officers to navigate easily through the book, along with a list of mission rules. The missions are varied and exciting, and include historical information about each location. Most of the major sites around Paris are visited, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Champs-Élysées. The missions aim to help develop many useful skills, including map, plan and photo analysis and interpretation, problem solving and interpretation of data – all done in a really fun way. The children are also encouraged to carefully record and store their intelligence or ‘intel’ – the word used for a spy’s discovered information. As a former geography and history teacher, I have found this book to be an excellent resource for a city study. As a travel lover, I see it of enormous value to families on a city break to Paris. I only wish such books had been available when my own children were young. Other books in the series include missions to London, Rome, Barcelona and Washington D.C. and I believe that more are to follow. I look forward to reading them.
